The path to Miruzo City is....still very long. 140 km is still very far....my legs are strange. Maybe my walking speed increased due to the AGILITY stat? Perhaps...
I have walked about no let's say i have been running for almost 61 km since morning after the travel towards the river which was about 50 km as well...and i was still not exhausted though my mind is. Earth's physics may not be the same here, maybe the gravity is different?
It's already 5:45 pm and the sun is already setting and the darkness is starting to spread across the horizon, moreover monsters are now beginning to become active.
[I should secure a place to sleep]
Somehow I'm afraid that sleeping in an open area is dangerous...should i try sleeping at a tall tree....i can use the grappling hook to climb or the belt thrusters to reach farther places.

Suddenly springing from my right arm, a cord with a grappler on its tip shot out and grabbed a nearby tree branch, pulling me unto it. Though it was sudden, i was able to secure a footing over the branch and it's sturdy actually.

Trying to lie on the branch, i was able to. Though it's hard but at least I'm secured up here no monsters nor people shall sense me here.
Opening inventory, i took out some fruits and ate it quickly to avoid nearby individuals to sense me up here.
I wonder should i deploy a plasma drone and have it patrol the area....let's try it.
Opening inventory, i took out a disk arranged plasma drone. It was still on storage and transport mode so i pressed the button below the camera.

The hover engine started but it was only vibrating, it then popped itself into its combat mode by flipping its body and arranging the camera part and its weapon.

There was controller screen on its side so I detached that and took it near me. It's similar to a certain game console but with a bigger screen and various controls.
[There's forward, side ward, backward, descend and ascend buttons. Then there's also a firing button and a self destruct...as if it's decided that if caught you can just remotely destroy it to avoid evidence or proof....] Self-destruct-inator...
Removing the unnecessary thoughts, i then controlled the drone and ascended it to 20 m up in the air, it activated night vision automatically and there's also a thermal vision option.
[Wow....the depth and clarity of the real-time video being projected is so clear....there's also a rangefinder?!]
My feeling right now is the same as that of a child getting his favorite toy or being gifted with a puppy or kitten.
Pressing the ascend button, it reached an altitude of about 20 m up in the air, there was no sound produced since its turbine propeller is wonderfully designed to minimize noise.
Now, on the control screen there is a night vision mode and thermal imaging mode, then there's also a crosshair for sights. The rangefinder is beside the crosshair and it can indicate a target at least 1 km away.

Moving along with the controls, i had it kill a sleeping boar and 5 goblins.....yeah those green skinned ugly bastards with the same height of a 6th grader.
Man...the plasma gun really is the real deal meanie here. It killed the targets in one hit, just thinking that this thing can actually wipe out an entire group of hostiles.
Well i then set it to automatic patrol, and take some good sleep. The drone capable of running up to 24 hours so let's have it do the rest of the job.
I then slept on the tree and there my day ended.....or so i thought.

My map suddenly alarms me since there were 10 red dots spotted in the distance about 500 m away from me, i then commanded the drone to approach it in high altitude.
[Haaa-----I wonder what is it now?..]
Quickly, i equipped the IMC titan pilot suit and immediately grappled among the trees and jumped high using the belt thrusters.
Woah-----it's actually smooth to move with these equipments!
Landing from tree to tree, i arrived at the said location where 10 red dots are located....i then threw a pulse blade over the nearby tree, only to find out that they are.....
[Bandits huh.......that's quite the brigand there....there's 10 and all are armed.........]
There are no hostages but there were cargos being sat by them...they are currently encircling a fireplace and were merrily chatting about their disgusting doings...
I'll censor their conversations since all are apparently about women and sex....yeah these guys are real nasty... then are bandits subjugation targets? Maybe?!
Taking out the D-101 Longbow DMR, i then cocked it and it's now ready to fire.
Peeking at the scope optics, I then positioned the drone to a potential escape route of the bandits.

I missed 1 so the 5 have apparently scrambled but for naught.

A blue glowed projectile hit their chest area.....leaving a large gaping gory hole on them....ughhh just watching it made my fruity dinner rise to my throat.

Looting the dead bodies, i found a snake tattoo at their upper arm..

In the end, i got these:

•15 silver coins
•400 copper coins
•5 iron daggers(worn out)
•a metal pot
•a broadsword
•a bow and 30 arrows
•a crate full of iron ores
•a crate full of weapons
•crates of various merchandise x 30
Well speaking of loots, there's a lot. Though I probably need to return the crates to the owners on a later date. Storing all on my inventory...a stupid idea crossed upon my head.

To find an answer, I tried it. Apparently it also works like that as the 10 stripped corpses are now nowhere to be seen but were just stored.
I then set the plasma drone to follow mode and quietly hovers above my head seemingly guarding me. At least I'm not alone in this journey to Miruzo City.

Since it was a machine, it didn't gave me a response nor an affirmation.
Haa------I decided to sleep at a tree branch again and stored PD-1 at inventory.
[*Hap-choooo!.....ugh.....it's cold at night huh.....oh well]
There i slept like a koala while on a tree, my map was peaceful since the hostiles are not within the range. Though the night was cold, I slept above the tree peacefully.
Waking up, it was already 5:48 am. The sun is slowly creeping at the dim atmosphere and the red dots are beginning to move around indicating their increase in activity.
[*Yawn~ wowsers....that's the first time I slept that comfortably....]
Rubbing my sleepy eyes, i then got off of the tree and there I inspected the surroundings.
[okay~ no hostiles within the area. *growl~~ kuhhhh....I'm hungry....should i cook the MRE since i had a pot now to boil water?.....maybe!]
I then arranged a fireplace over the area using some stones, branches and dry leaves. I then put a stand for the pot and filled the pot with water from my canteen. Lighting the fireplace with my lighter , the fire started so i put the pot full of water over the fire and waited for it to boil.
Taking out one MRE, i cut up an indicated top part and there i saw a ziplock, though there is also a small hole beside it....
[So that's where I'll put the hot water...MRE spaghetti? Sounds delicious~]
After minutes, the water is now boiled. I then opened the hole and there i poured some 200 ml of hot water and closed it, I should wait for 10 minutes before the meal cooks. I then take some branch and carved it into a decent spork....mmm....yeah it's a nicely done spork.
[Hmm?? It's been 10 minutes.....]
I then opened the ziplock....uwahhhh~ the fragrant smell of Italian style spaghetti wafts to my nose and damn! It's really tempting to eat so i dig in the food using my spork.
Lifting a roll of pasta full of sauce, i then put it in my mouth........mmmmm~ delish~ious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wolfing it down, it was finished in no time...
[Uwaaahh~~ it's so delicious and fulfilling~~]
Was spaghetti this tasty before? I really don't know the answer...but kudos to that, and it seems I'll have 4 other more MRE spaghetti on my inventory.
Washing my palate with water, I decided to move on again. Storing the pot and the carved spork, my walk for the day had now continued.
[Haa~ I wonder how long and how far is left till i reach my destination?]
Thus, the distance left is 120 km...that's still a bit far than I expected.
