Chapter 246: Bullies, Bullied. [REVAMPED]

Jay recognized the person in the lead the moment he saw him. It was Rohan. A familiar face from school, and not in a good way. Rohan had always been a sadistic bully who enjoyed watching others suffer.

He was the son of the Chairman of the Quadnite Conglomerate, and he used that power to do whatever he wanted. If someone happened to get in his way, they paid the price. His cruelty had no limits. He didn't just bully people, he humiliated them. And worst of all, he enjoyed it.

There was a rumor that in his previous school, Rohan had pushed a student so far that the kid ended up dead. The boy's parents went to the cops and filed a case, but nothing ever came of it.

In the end, all charges magically disappeared, and all the punishment he received was to drop out and join another high school. Within a week, he was back to normal, as if nothing had happened.

But he didn't change. In fact, he only got worse.

Once he joined the new school, he gathered all the small-time bullies and made them follow him. Some joined him for power. Others followed because they were scared. He built a group around himself, one that did whatever he said. They bullied others while Rohan stood behind them, controlling everything.

No one tried to stop him. Even the teachers looked the other way. They had been warned. After all, the school was being managed by someone under his father. The whole administration stayed silent, bought off or too afraid to act.

Rohan had a way of turning every situation in his favor. Whether it was through threats, blackmail, or money, he always found a way.

If anyone dared to stand against him and couldn't be dealt with by his minions, Rohan handled them himself. One way or another, he always made sure they backed down. His influence was total. No one could touch him.

If there was anyone he couldn't deal with on his own or through his usual minions, Rohan would call in the goons under his father's payroll to deal with them.

That was until he crossed paths with the eldest of the popular siblings at school.

Jay wasn't the type to get involved in other people's problems. He had his own group of friends and stayed within that circle. Even though he saw what was happening around him, he didn't go out of his way to fight it. As long as his space wasn't disturbed, he didn't act.

There were times when a few bullies tried to mess with him. But Jay didn't react. Not because he was scared, but because he didn't see the point. He had the strength to deal with them if he wanted to. He just chose not to.

But all of that changed one day.

His sister had an accident in the hallway. She bumped into one of Rohan's followers by mistake. What happened next made Jay's blood boil.

They grabbed her wheelchair and threw her out of it. They stamped on her legs, mocked her, and called her a cripple, and added more insults.

Although Qew tried to keep it quiet, the news still reached Jay. A few students who saw what happened told him, and what Qew feared the most came true as Jay went berserk.

He went straight for the bullies and beat them so badly that some ended up with multiple bone fractures. But it didn't stop there.

That incident was just the beginning. One of the bullies had said something that pushed Jay over the edge.

"You know who I answer to? Rohan. Heard of him, right? Well, listen up. From today, you, your siblings, and your friends won't know peace. Tomorrow, all hell breaks loose for you."

The bully was half right. All hell did break loose. But not the way he expected.

From the next day, Jay started hunting down bullies himself. He didn't wait for them to mess with someone; he found them first.

It didn't matter how big or muscular the bully was; he knocked them cold with ease. He made sure to break some of their bones while he was at it.

Rohan had ruled the school through fear and power, but Jay's actions flipped everything.

Jay moved through the school like a storm. Every day, he found new targets. The bullies who once stood proudly under Rohan's shadow were now too afraid to show their faces. They had tried ganging up on Jay, but it meant little against his well-honed martial arts.

The whole school began to change.

Students who had lived in fear were finally smiling. The silence that once followed Rohan's name was now filled with whispers of Jay. Whispers of how he was fighting back.

For the first time in a long while, students walked the halls without fear.

Jay had become something more than just a student. He was a sign that things could change. That someone strong enough could stand up. That bullies could be beaten.

To many, he was revenge. To some, a hero.

To Rohan… a threat.

Jay's reputation reached a whole new level, even beyond what he had earned as the top athlete in the school. Every class he walked into, searching for bullies, was met with quiet nods and grateful eyes. The students who had once suffered in silence finally had someone standing up for them.

By the end of the week, Jay had taken down almost every bully in the school. Only Rohan and a few others remained.

Rohan didn't sit back quietly. He sent all the leftover bullies after Jay, hoping to overwhelm him. But they all ended up like the rest, beaten and broken. When that failed, he sent a group of hired thugs to ambush Jay after school hours.

But they never got close.

Aadrik, the chief of security for Jay's family, had been picking up the triplets and their cousin Lokesh every day. The moment the thugs showed up, Aadrik stepped in. He handled them, and none of them came back again.

Inside the school, Jay was untouchable. Rohan even tried pulling strings with the school management, but that didn't work either. Too many students had come forward. They gave statements, shared what had happened to them, and pointed fingers straight at Rohan and his group.

No one wanted to protect him anymore.

Then came the day Jay went after Rohan himself.

Rohan gathered the last of his already injured bullies, making one final stand. But it didn't matter. Jay crushed them all. The fight was one-sided from the start. And Rohan, just like his underlings, was beaten down.

Every time Rohan tried to threaten Jay by bringing up his siblings, friends, or family, he only made things worse. Those were the very words that had triggered Jay in the first place. He said them again and again… and paid the price for it.

It took more than ten security guards to stop Jay from doing something irreversible.

The aftermath was heavy. Jay was suspended for a full month. Rohan, on the other hand, ended up in a hospital bed, unable to move for weeks.

Jay hadn't seen him since that day.

But now, two months later, Rohan was here. In the same multi-speciality hospital Jay had come to. It was the best hospital in the area, so their paths had crossed again.

Jay stood still as Rohan slowly walked toward him, a limp in his step and his right arm still wrapped in a fracture cast. His face wore a crooked smile, the same sadistic grin Jay had seen many times before.
