In the function hall, Xi Luo listened to the approaching footsteps behind her, sighed softly, and took a sip of her drink.
Zong Zhan walked forward, nudged the high chair with his toe to sit down, and his eyes, full of an aggressive look, fell on her face. "Your ability to dodge and hide really impresses me."
"I've got plenty of impressive abilities," Xi Luo chuckled lightly, picking up an overturned glass from the tray and sliding it in front of Zong Zhan. "Have a drink, calm your nerves."
Zong Zhan curled his fingers to stop the glass, picked up the bottle, and poured half a glass of wine. "Xi Luo, more than anyone, you should know. With your sensitive identity, if used well, you could be a privileged undercover; if not, I can have you turned into a courtroom spy."
Xi Luo laughed softly without changing her expression. "Aren't you impressive."
Zong Zhan couldn't stand Xi Luo's nonchalant attitude; concerning life and death matters, she remained indifferent.
