Miranda's parents looked bewildered, glancing left and right as they tried to smooth things over, "Well...regardless, as long as everyone is happy..."
The little girl from the relatives who had spoken earlier laughed and interjected, "So, Sister Miranda, you did this to save face, and had your friend come deceive us, only for Sister Kelly to expose you?"
"Al!" The little girl's mother scolded, though not particularly angrily.
The girl stuck out her tongue, "I'm just telling the truth!"
Kelly's mother also spoke up with a smile, "Oh dear, Miranda has always been naive; maybe she really was deceived... It just so happens that Kelly brought her C-Level Advancement Training Certificate with her."
She turned to Kelly, "Kelly, why don't you show your certificate, so Miranda can see what a real one looks like?"
Kelly nodded, her face glowing with pride as she pulled out a certificate from her bag. Instead of handing it to Miranda, she laid it directly on the table.
