In the afternoon, Scarlett Xavier was driving her car, parked at the intersection, saw the skincare product advertisement playing on the square opposite.
The spokesperson's face on the screen made her momentarily dazed.
The phone rang, she answered it, and Julian Rhodes' voice came through, "Where are you now?"
"Almost there, just two kilometers away," Scarlett laughed: "Can't wait, huh!"
"Everyone is here," Julian said, "waiting for you."
Fifteen minutes later, Scarlett finally walked out of the hotel elevator, and upon exiting, she saw Julian and Jonah Morgan at the entrance.
Jonah was holding little Serena, with a faint smile at the corner of his mouth; little Serena was very happy being held by her uncle.
Julian was sulking beside them, looking quite displeased.
Because he couldn't understand why his precious daughter was smiling so happily at Jonah.
