Julian Rhodes lifted the corner of his mouth, finding it quite ironic.
Felix Rhodes said, "Mom and big brother really acted improperly in this matter, but why do you have to go through with this? You're not even the one who's the most upset. You clearly like Scarlett Xavier so much! I'll go find Scarlett later and talk to her... She does care about you. Once I bring back the divorce agreement, we can pretend this never happened, alright?"
Knowing Julian's temper and wanting to prevent their family from bothering Scarlett, he decided to talk to Julian before going.
Julian responded, "Don't go bothering her."
"I don't want to bother her either," Felix said, "But Julian... if you don't, you really won't have another chance! Are you really willing to see her with Jonah Morgan? Wouldn't you feel sad?"
"That would be better than keeping her by my side," Julian said, avoiding Felix's gaze.
He had kept himself busy all morning, trying not to think of her.
