The wind finally dies down as Miro carries Mira asleep on his back. Miro lost his sight again as they walked, but he kept walking. As Miro continues walking, he begins to cough up residue, spits to the side, and keeps walking as Miro passes the flower, the residue landed on, the flower wilted and died. As Miro pressed on, his sight was coming back to him. Then he hears a twig snap, then Miro stops and calmly asks who is there? No one answered. If you do not want anything, then get lost. Then he resumed walking towards the hollow tree, but the unknown guest kept his distance and watched; then, blinking in a blink of an eye, it disappeared, leaving feathers behind.
They finally reached the hollow tree. Miro walks in. They hit Miro on the head with a stick. In frustration, Miro growls and rips the object from them, chewed it apart, and looks at the assailant. With surprise Miro recognizes them it was Dra, and standing behind her was Axil. Wolf, you have a lot of nerve for taking my brother as she angrily snarled at him, but she noticed Mira on his back. Who that your victim? Then she steps back. If she stays alive, she will be the end of us. I need to get rid of her. After saying that, Dra sees that Miro is breathing Heavily, but Miro drops down at the entrance; Mira fell slides beside him.
As he lay there, Miro was in and out of consciousness, he tried to get up, but his body felt like a boulder that could not budge. What is going on, and why can I move? Then he looks beside him and sees Mira was squirming as she sleeps. Then he looks back at Dra and sees her smirk on her face. Well, it seems like the fey blood within you is running out. Lucky for us your supplier is nowhere. Dra starts walking towards Mira.
As she walks, Miro shouts Stay away from her, making Dra jump back as she sees Miro's facial features, making Axle speak up. Dra, let's get out of here. He is no threat to us now, but Dra turns around and snaps at Axle. He threatened to kill you if we did not let him go. He kidnapped you. I thought you were dead. Then she hears something from behind, turns, and sees Miro was using his chin to drag himself to Mira. Without hesitation, Dra ran to Miro to tackle him. He rolled away from Mira, and then she ran to Mira and pressed her paw on top of her stomach.
Why are you so interested in an infected meal? Then she looks around and grabs a shard of the broken stick held against the face of Mira. Sorry, little one but you will suffer if you continue living. I will give you a release. She raised the stick and thrust down. She made contact, but it was not the head of Mira but the shoulder of Miro.
Confused but determined, she pulls the stick out of Miro and tries again to kill Mira, but before she has the chance, Miro heads butts Dra which makes her jump away from them. In a dazed, her sight was blurry. She rubs her face and notices that her nose is bleeding. Enraged, Dra bolts towards Miro but stops and sees that Miro coughs up black residue, making the area stink. She steps back and covers her nose your beyond of no return Fey Blood. You are a danger to these woods.
Dra looked around and saw then ran towards a sharp stick. If I leave you alive, you will become a mindless beast killing everyone and everything in your path. She held it tightly within her mouth and ran towards Miro. Within inches of making contact, STOP from behind Axle tackles Dra. In disbelief, Dra looks at Axle and wonders why Axle defends someone like Miro. Axle was standing between Miro and Dra, the body still shaking. Dra stops this; he is not like the others. He can save him. Agitated, Dra growls at Axle. Move brother. He is beyond saving. Look at him. He was showing signs of the curse. She tries to get past Axle, but he keeps her from getting close. Yes, he captured me, but Miro kept me by his side and looked after me after I fell ill. He and his partner took care of me while I was unconscious."
The area went silent. Dra walks towards Axle and leans towards his ear, and whispers something in his ear. Still breathing heavily, Miro turns around to look at Mira, which moves around as she sleeps, he looks back, and with shock, Axle is on the ground panting heavily. Miro looked around for Dra, and suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his side. Miro looks back and sees Dra walking towards Mira. He yells, but all that was coming from his mouth was black goo. He looks on his side and finally notices the sharp stick is sticking out.
At that moment, Miro felt light, and then everything went quiet. Miro sees Dra heading towards Mira, but she is not moving. The sharp feeling he felt went away at that moment, and then he ran beside Mira. Her eyes were still close, but she was not moving as well. Then he heard something but couldn't make out what it was, but it sounded far away. Miro nudges Mira, but as he did, it felt like his head was rubbing against a rock "why won't she move?" he turns back and sees that Dra has not moved at all "what is going on?" then the sound comes back, but it sounded closer and louder "MIRO STOP IT" he recognized the voice it was Axle and Mira.
He hears the pleas for him to stop the tree's walls begins seeping black ooze started, he nudges Mira's body harder, but his head went through her body black residue only stay. He yells out for Mira, But all he hears is for him to stop. He didn't know why they were telling him to stop. Miro turns around, and with horror, a monstrous beast stands in front of him, he tries to back away, but he can't move.
The beast stood there looking down at him. Then it began to open its mouth. Within its mouth, all Miro saw was Broken blooded jagged teeth. The beast lets out a horrid, wailing roar, making Miro want to get away even more, and then Miro hears screaming behind him and the screams he did not recognize. Miro knew he needed to get back to the others, so as the beast roars, Miro bares his fangs and leans forward and begins chewing his paw to make it move.
As Miro bites at his paw, he notices the beast stops roaring. In pain, he stops chewing, and as he does, the beast roars again, which makes Miro unable to move his body. So, Miro uses all his might for the last attempt and bit off his right paw. Once he did, he was able to move his body. Miro looks up and sees that the beast has stopped roaring, but it raises its arm and holds it over Miro's body.
He did not know what the beast was doing. Then he felt a burning sensation on the arm. He has bitten his paw off. Miro starts hearing a ripping sound from above. He looks up and sees that the beast's paw is falling off. Miro tries to move out of the way but can't move. He looked at the beast and saw it, had red tears coming from its eyes and had a grin on its face. Then it spoke. "Take My gift and use it well." So, the paw fell off the beast and fell to the ground. As it landed, the limb perked up and shoved itself into Miro's nub, making Miro roar with pain, and the beast began Laughing, and everything started getting dark. As it was getting dark, he heard a Voice "Please Stop this.
Everything went dark. In the distance, Miro sees a blinking light. Miro ran towards it, and finally, his vision came back as a blur. As his vision was settling, he heard Mira's voice, but it was trembling. Miro tried to speak but was in too much pain to talk. Miro yelp, which made Mira worried. "Miro, it's OK, your safe" Miro did not know when she was awake, but he was happy to hear that she was safe. "Mira, are you safe. Where are you?" Then he hears that Mira is whimpering. "Miro, you are finally back." Once said, they both stumble around to reach each other. Finally, they did. "Mira, you cry a lot." Then she softly headbutts his chest, "I thought I'd lost you this time. A realization occurs. Where are the foxes? Mira went silent.
As Mira stood silent, a dread of fear came over Miro. "Mira, what happened." From behind, he hears footsteps. "who's there?!" Miro turns around and sees two blurry objects, then he rubs his eyes and finally sees it is Axle and Dra. In disbelief, Miro thought of the worst that happened to them, but they were OK.
Mira walked forward and stood beside the foxes, which made Miro confused. "Mira, what's going on?" She wouldn't reply. Axle steps forward. Mr. Miro, your friend, stood with you for three days and kept you from leaving the tree. Miro couldn't believe what he heard "your curse took over which, made Mira awake from her sleep" Miro finally saw Mira's body, and with horror, he saw all the cuts and bite marks on her body. Miro howls In despair and steps away from Mira "what have I done" Mira was going to say something, but, Axle cuts her off "on the first day you had my sister in your jaws. I thought I lost her until your friend at the last second held your mouth open preventing you from killing her".
Miro looked at her paws and saw what his teeth did to them, and the taste of her blood still lingered within his mouth. "I was supposed to protect her, not harm her." So deep in thought, Axle continues. However, she kept you from biting her. The blood of Mira somehow reaches into the cut you inflicted on her and now looks at her. Dra was rolling around in the leaves within the background, acting as if she was an infant.
Feeling ashamed of himself, he walks up to Dra, but, Axle jumps in front of him. "You have done enough damage to her." Mira tries to speak up, but, Axle interrupts her again. "Mira kept you from leaving this tree for the past three days, and see what you afflict on her." Axle got up to his face. "Why did I stop her from killing you, look? What I have brought upon her, she may never be the same again." Then Dra snuck behind Axle and tugged at his tail playfully. Axle looks at Dra as a tear sheds down his cheek. "Would you take responsibility for what you have done?" Miro stood there silent. He looked at Mira and then back at Axle. "I am sorry little one. For what I have done but, I am only here to protect her and not your sister." Out of anger, Axle slashed Miro's face with his claws, making him bleed.
Finally, Mira speaks up. It's not his fault he was protecting me. Mira stood in front of Axle. "Please Don't blame him. Blame me". Axle glares at Mira and finally realizes that she is blind by looking at her eyes. I will take responsibility for his actions.
Miro rejects the notion she threatens to kill you in your sleep Mira because of this fey blood bullshit. Mira headbutts Miro; This is my fault that you are this way. Then she turns back to Axle. Would you please not blame Miro but blame me? Then Miro steps in front of Axle. My actions are my responsibility. But Mira, you are my responsibility. Then she replies, I know. Then she walks towards Axle. Mira got closer to him which, made him back away from her but, she kept going until Axle was standing beside Dra.
What are you doing? Then Mira leaned towards Axle, used his nozzle, and rubbed against his cheek; this is my way of saying you are Mine. Out of confusion, he pushes Mira away. You cannot print your mark on me. Then she did the same to Dra; she rubbed her nozzle to hers.
