So, everyone is staying the night at my place.
I really don't know how this will go, 'cause I wanted a peaceful sleep today but looks like I won't get it.
Everyone informed their households.
Mark went back to his house and brought his 'Fish' with him, because he didn't want her to stay alone.
I had order something to eat, 'cause I can't cook neither do I have any anything which can be cooked.
So, I picked my phone and called the nearest restaurant. As I was ordering Jason stood there with a grave face, looking towards the living room, "What is this nightmare?" he said.
I looked at the living room, and I saw Carol and Amy, both jumping on the couch like there is no tomorrow.
What's worse than that is, that we saw Mark speaking with the fish, "Hey Fishy, how you doin'?"
Meanwhile, as we were looking at them, came a voice from the phone, "Anything more, sir?" asked the person of the restaurant I called.
"Can you mix poison in the food?" I asked as I could not tolerate them in my house.
"Your order would be there in 15 minutes," she said and quickly hung up.
I should worry that she would call 911, right? Should I or should I not? What do you guys think?
I didn't care what will, 'cause right now, my primary concern was the house I bought.
Jason came to me, "Don't worry, nothing will happen." he tried comforting me as he saw I was too worried.
"Nah, with Carol here. I don't think everything's going to be fine." I expressed myself.
He chuckled and said, "She's not that careless,"
As soon as he said we a crunching voice, something like a glass breaking. So, we headed to the direction it came from, and guess what, Carol broke a vase.
I guess he was too early to pass that statement.
He looked at me, "We'll lock her in the attic,"
We both smiled and chuckled.
The food arrived on time, everyone had dinner. The food was delicious.
We danced, laughed and did quite a lot of things which made us tired. It was almost past midnight, so we decided to sleep.
I asked Calyx to leave because it was me with my friends, so you know. You know, right?
He walked away with uncertainty.
It's true that I forgot about myself when I am with these idiots. That's the reason I even forgot to introduce myself.
So, it was obvious for him to react this way.
We decided the rooms we're going to use. It was more like Carol assigned them to us.
So, I was sleeping in my room, Jason and Mark were together,. so were Carol and Staci in another room. Amy was asked to use the remaining room.
Everyone was in their room except Jason and me.
Standing beside the ledge of the balcony, looking at the starry sky, the moon which made me overcome my frustration and irritation I got from Carol.
"What do you think? Will I find her?" he asked as we looked at the stars.
At that point, we didn't even knew that she was a real thing, but I had to answer something right.
"Look, I don't know about that, "I said as I looked into his eyes, "But I do know that if you believe in things, happening they are bound to happen eventually. But for that to happen you should have faith,"
I don't know if I was right, but at that moment I thought he needed something that would encourage him. So, I said what I had to say.
He smiled with a sense of motivation.
We turned backwards and started heading to our rooms, and at that moment we saw someone.
It was Amy, closely looking she was holding a knife, which terrified us. We followed her to her room to understand what she was doing with a knife.
We walked close to her as she entered her room.
I said, "Amy," with a concerned and an alarmed face, "You know right? Real life weapons are not allowed in dreams."
I took a step backwards and was ready for anything now.
She saw our faces and busted out laughing hard, "I know that," she replied as laughed, "Something stuck beside my bed. I am trying to cut that."
She was laughing while speaking; it made us impossible to understand what she was saying. It was almost like deciphering a long gone ancient language.
And holding a knife like she was going to kill someone. Yeah, like that's normal.
I walked towards her and took the knife out of her hand and then suddenly heard a thudding sound.
What is going in this house?
We were totally flustered and panicked to death because the voice won't stop.
So we quickly grabbed something in order to protect ourselves.
I had a knife, Jason grabbed a lamp, but Amy grabbed a pillow.
"What are you gonna do? Pillow fight?" I ridiculed.
I mean, I know the situation right now is chaotic, but that doesn't mean you take a pillow as a weapon.
We continued our walk outside and looked down the corridor.
We saw a figure standing and banging its head on the door. It was Staci's room.
Everything was dark, nothing was visible, but I was sure something was there, because that thing was white, completely white.
We tiptoed towards it. I casually tried checking the knife and then realized that it wasn't a knife but a butter spreader.
Seriously? How can you not know a difference between a knife and a butter spreader?
I thought Mark was the dumbest person, but I think I was wrong.
I looked at Amy hysterically, showing her the weapon in my hand.
As we were moving closer, Staci opened the door, irritated she looked, but that irritation turned into a sudden pain as because she head-butted the thing which was banging its head on the door.
They both fell on the floor covering their heads with their and crying in pain.
We ran towards them and saw that the thing was actually Carol covered in a blanket.
Wow, she sleepwalks. Great.
You know what's weird here? People who sleepwalk either end up in someone else's room or they walk randomly.
But this lady, she came out of her room and started banging her head on the door of the same door.
Why am I stuck with these weirdoes?
The situation was calming down, but we again heard a voice. Now, all that left was Mark. So we headed to his room.
Now, tell me how would feel if five people were staring straight into soul in the midnight?
He freaked to death, "I'm sorry. Don't kill me." he said with a voice shaking as similar to his shivering body.
Covering himself inside the blanket, "I promise I'll leave my pervert nature," he said.
"Great job, guys. Never thought this was so easy," I said with an astonished face.
"I don't trust him, we should take that in writing," said Carol.
Mark sighed a relief as he saw us.
But the thing was that Mark was sleeping peacefully then who made that noise.
Everyone now made their way downstairs. Amy got her phone and was ready to dial 911, while we were being ready to attack whatever it is.
But as we came downstairs, there was a voice which was too familiar to me.
We saw a full grown man, was between 25-30 age. Oval-shaped face, with green-hooded eyes, black-haired and had fringe hairstyle, just like me.
It was him, my big brother. Shawn Garrison.
"How ironic! I was going to call police." I said.
He is Cop, wanted to do something different from what dad was doing. He is helpful and loves social work. He'll even help someone if it'll cost his job.
"I wanted to talk with you," he answered.
"So, you break-in?" I asked .
Anyway, we ended up going to the balcony, you know, to talk privately.
Standing by the wall, he lighted up his smoke, "So, thought about your future plans?" he asked as he took a puff.
"You know, I don't like to talk about that," I replied furiously.
"But Kyle...." he was interrupted by me.
"I just don't want to," I said.
"Fine, I asked because it was bothering dad," he asserted.
Trying to change the topic, "Well then, who's your girlfriend?" he asked.
"Can you please stop? You are hurting my feelings." I replied.
"Oh! I'm sorry. I saw girls down there, thought you would have one," he said.
"Sorry for being unattractive," I said with a deadpan face
"Kyle, get a date for yourself. These are the times when you should do fun things. Trust me, dates are fun," he said.
Like I never realized that,
"You are one to say. Have you ever had a date in your life?" I asked him curiously.
His phone rang as I finished my talk, signaling me to stop talking he picked the call.
He mumbled something and hung up.
"My sweet little brother, that was a call..... a call from a girl and guess what, I am being invited to a date," he said mockingly.
I was surprised, seriously I was.
"I knew dad lied to me," I said with confidence, "Tell me, who's adopted? You or me?"
He chuckled.
It was a fun night, and it was nice seeing him. He always supported me and is caring. God knows, I love him so much. He is one of those important people in my life. So, it was nice seeing him.
After a while, he left and I came downstairs only to find Jason and others asleep in the living room, except Mark. He was awake. I looked around and saw Carol lying on the couch like it was her own house.
"So, lioness marked this as her territory too," I said pointing towards Carol.
"How? She peed around your house?" asked Mark.
What the hell? That question was my facial expression at that time.
"I saw it on Animal Planet," he justified himself.
"Fish, just focus on your fish," I said.
Extra knowledge is too harmful for him.
As I said this, I realized that Amy was missing.
So I asked, "Where's Amy?"
"She is her room," he replied.
I sighed.
"You are attracted to Amy? Aren't you?" he asked curiously.
"What? No, not at all. Why would think like that?" I asked.
"Come on, I saw. You look at her." he reasoned.
"I look at you, doesn't mean I like you, Mark." I said.
What even was that?
Do you think I may fall for her?
Or am I falling for her?

[Phone Rings]
"Hello, Kyle?" said Jason.
"Yes?" I replied.
"We need to meet," he said in an exciting tone.
"Okay, but why?" I asked him curiously.
"The girl is real, she is not just a dream girl. she is a real girl," he answered.
