Chapter 105 - Chapter 105 Around the Table

Art strides through the hallway her arm being held by Apollo, trying to keep up with her,

"You know, Artemis, it might be nothing."

"It might not be. But we know what Avalon has told you and Asclepius that he left her there to face all he has done. He has done it on purpose."

Art green hues peered at him, shining in the opulent light of Olympus reflected in them. She walked more slowly for him to catch up with her, She stared into his gold eyes, seeing the a sense of conviction in them. He held her arm tighter, and the glow coming from him grew,

"You have a valid point Art. She was left there from what we know, you also heard a familiar voice shouting at her, one that she wouldn't recognize but we do, that was Haldio. He was shouting at her, aggravated. Distraught."

Apollo and Art walked through the majestic entrance of the hall into the throne room, or as most of them now the gathering of leaders, the meeting room, The hear the big footsteps behind them, Asclepius was behind them not far, Apollo glanced behind them, he saw the apprehension on Asclepius face, his eyes distilled shining within his jaw tightened twitched as he wrapped his mind around what they find themselves in. Dalos now runs free from his prison, laying Shai as the discarded pawn to take his foully. Whether it be on purpose or not he as set her as someone of extermination for the figures kind, Asclepius looked up his gaze met Apollos. They had the same thought in their minds, the unknown of it all only had one thing for certain, they are the threat to them. Apollo felt Art stop her body stiffened, He looked at her, concerned when he saw what she did, the table lay before them, chairs filled with gods they knew of and some that they thought were gone. The glow in the room was erratic with all the power that was seated at the table. Artemis felt the surge of power around them it was overwhelming to the naked eye. Asclepius stood next to them having caught up with them, He glanced at the two when they looked over the room, They see Zeus and Hera next to each other Zeus glanced at her as she glared at him but held his hand that was on her chair, Next to them was the warrior or as they knew it Susanoo, he sat there his gaze a dark staring at the chatter in the room, in his bark blue clothes with flash of gold and white made him noticeable to them his hand touching his swords hilt, Next to him was a woman made of lava her gaze burned like a volcano bursting alive for the first time in centurys, her lips a stern frown as she peered at the people around her, her clothes a lose fabric that danced in the wind, red orange and black, her hand holding a clump of lava morphing it into a small hill, staring at it bordly her chin slumped into her other hand, the seat on the other side of the room sat a woman of gold and green, a head dress covered in hidden away jewels, precious and cared for, A soft smile placed on her lips as she hold a champagne glass filled with wine, she swirled it in the gold plated glass she glanced at then her brown eyes held a subtle warmth, she moved her arm showing the wing like ruffles in her gown sleeves, faint hints of sand on her gown flowing with in the brezees moving her gown showing slight glyphs on it, then at the other end of the table a blister of a chilling wind blew, harsh and bitter until showing the person who sat in the chair, his one eyes showed glowed blue as he stared back at them, his other eye covered by gold patch, he held his spear in one hand while the other held a pint of alcohol, burned warm from the breaking cold he waore black mostly, with faint hints of white, a flowing long jacket shook in the wind, he stared up at Zeus his gaze cold holding no reluctance,

"Telling me that defenseless creature helped release me? She's the one who broke the prison."

Zeus peered at him his eyes narrowed they looked at each other guarded, Zeus moved his posture facing the man,

"She is you should know you have seen her through the prison yourself, Odin,"

Odin let out a gruff hum as he tightened his hold on his spear, he leaned on the chair arm feeling something touch his foot, he knew who it was already it didnt bother him while he sipped his drink feeling the soft feathers move over his boot, That feathers lead to a green scaled tail curling aroun them rushing up to the head of a dragon, there yellow eyes scaned over the room with a soft purr they lifts his head tilting his head at Artimues, Apollo and Asclepius, its feathers fluffed up in other colors it shaked his head making them fly around the room when it spoke deep and rough voice,

"Came back from seeing that human have you?"

Ascelpius tilted up his head, staring at the serpent, he grew a grim frown. Asclepius walked to the table as a chair appeared before him, Asclepius sat down while explaining,

"We have the repairing of her soul went well, it went together, but she's changed from what we knew her,"

Asclepius glanced at Zeus, seeing the gleam in his eyes, he was intrigued by the sudden development, but then it changed, caution. Zeus leaned forward closer to Asclepius, His glowing blue eyes made an upseen shine in the room,

"Shai has changed. From what?"

Asclepius felt the eyes of the people gathered around the room lay on him, waiting either bored or wanting something more, they were about to. Asclepius felt the ground shift around two more chairs built beside them. Art sat to his left her hand in her lap, tightening with her gaze narrowed as her bright green hues cast around the room, Apollo to his right, his light dimming, held his chin in his palm, peering at him from the corner of his eyes. They dimmed, realizing how messed up this will become.

"She woke up moments ago telling Apollo and me what occurred on the roof, and it was what we had feared. Dalos used her as his vessel, taking her soul, shattering it in the process, but that's not it, the figure Haldio saw her and the weapon, he thought she had killed Apet when it was Dalos, him out of them, thought of that and not Dalos,"

Asclepius halted, glanced at them, finding that Zeus was assessing his words carefully next to a stone harden Hera, her posture stiff as she listened to him with hidden apprehension, for what he was not sure yet. Asclepius scanned the room, having the same apprehension from them as Hera. He shut his eyes, blazing a deep bronze, he then continued to explain,

"Shai now has characteristics from Dalos, to his gold hair and glowing eyes, from the power that dwelled in the weapon. In him now is her, she's taken him, shattering her to be something that resembles him,"

"Resembles him?" Hera let out her eyebrow raised in question. Asclepius nodded his gaze at her,

"In a way, she took his power and made it for her with the spell we used to keep her alive, she took his power. His soul. It fixed her, became a part of her now she's like him, his powers, his strength runs in her,"

"She's a figure now?" Zeus cut him off, Asclepius turned his head to him slowly he shook his head.

"Yes, that is what I'm explaining, she's still human but with a transformed soul. It made her some kind of hybrid, of human and gods."

The room went still, the last syllable echoed through the majestic room, the gods each held their own reaction, and the woman with burning eyes widened with a skeptical gleam in them. The woman in jewels' smile dropped with a concerned look on her face, the sand picked up on her gown, Susanoo sat stiff in his chair his hand tightly gripping his sword his dark eyes glaring holes into him, Odin sat up from his relaxed position his eyes flashed blue, and he muttered dreadfully.

"Dalos is a god?"

"An old one that had been hidden from us this whole time, it didn't connect to me until I saw the spell, she reacted like no other, humans die from it but Shai grew from it. By that, she's now like us but not, she still breathes the life of a human, but her body heals and burns like us," Ascelpius trailed off

The room got early quite making Ascelpius uneasy peeked at Apollo, who stared back at him his hand rested on the armchair as his smooth voice filled the room,

"That is what we have found, and experienced, this woman is human but not, a powerful being but held back by her meek body."

"Your…sirouse of this Ascelpius? Apollo?" The woman in gold asked,

"There serious Isis," Art interjected,

"Then they are of the figuers, they are not to be let out yet for their condition," The woman with fiery eyes spoke

"It should be, she will want to see her friends soon, she will be guilty for them to worry about her,"

"That won't matter if she can't control it, it won't matter she might be worried for them but now they can't," Odin seethed his hand clenching his spear,

"I get that won't matter to you, but to her it will," Art interjected,

"Art if she is like him the figures will want her killed wouldn't they?"

Art head shot at Hera, her tilted stern face made her freeze, Hera moved her hand drifted over the table making it glow faintly, a light purple.

"They would. More than under Apet would they come after her, worse than they have us,"

"Then this human, what will we do with her then?" The serpent asked his head to Art,

"We will let her heal before she tries to help,"

"I see, fine, but I want to see her myself," The serpent uttered, curling around the table,

Art calmly saw the sight, seeing the serpent move away when the eerie voice from Suanoo came from across the table,

"And the figures we must protect ourselves from their trap, we can't be stuck like that once more,"

"I…I know that," Art let out

"The what would we propose to do about it?" The woman with blazing eyes asked,

"That's quite enough," Zeus with Odin, they didn't give each other a lance as Zeus continued,

"We let her rest, heal from her wounds she got and is still healing from, then we need to talk with her on what to do next, the figures that are with us need to know what has happened,"

His blues flashed over to the entrance, "I believe that they already know of it, and have been listening to our gathering. You should show yourselves and make what you want known before one of us has no patience to deal with you Figure"

They turned to the door, seeing a shadow move in the light, the figure shifted, appearing to them with his eyes glowing a bright red, his face a perfect frown,

"I apologize I…I just want to know what happened to Shai,"

Zeus let out a gruff scoff, "I knew that Figuer, but you know how I despise people listening to our gatherings,"

"I already knew that from the last time Zeus, you shocked the other figure so bad he had second degree burns."

"I recall that dreadfully,

A laughter went around the room when a shadow appeared from the ceiling, the other figure's cloak almost fell off his face a fake smile as he looked down at them,

"You forgot about me lightning man,"
