Almost half an hour later, a knock came from the bedroom door.
Livius looked up from the monitors he had been adjusting. "Come in."
The door opened. Argon stepped inside first, carrying one of the monitoring units under his arm. Behind him came a young man in a white coat, carrying the remaining equipment.
The moment he entered, the young healer lowered his head respectfully.
"My name is Hadriel." His eyes briefly landed on the unconscious king before returning to Livius.
Argon closed the door behind them. "I already spoke to him on the way here." He set the machine carefully beside the bed. "I told him everything he hears or sees in this room stays here."
Hadriel nodded immediately. "That is also part of our code of service." His voice was steady despite the situation. "A patient's condition remains confidential." He bowed once more. "I won't breathe a single word that this concerns our Alpha King."
Livius gave a small nod. "Good."
