"I'm sorry this entrance is only for spirits, you have to go there..." The guardian spirit of the public pool said and pointed over to the main entrance, "...to enter since you're human," he said to me. He let Rhea in as I awkwardly slide over to the entrance. I checked in and met Rhea there.
"Hey, why didn't you wait for me?" I asked her. The moment I did, whispers were heard. Damn, I forgot they can't see her. I cleared my throat and walked into the changing room like a normal human. Rhea started stiffing giggles.
"That's not funny, you know," I said, crossing my arms as soon as we're in a changing stall. "Oh, you should've heard what they said. They said you were crazy and talking by yourself!" her fit of giggles slowly turn into a laugher.
I smiled with one side of my lips up and shook my head. She's so cheerful all the time, I wonder why. I ignored her laugher and turned away from her. Slowly, I took off my shirt and pants, replacing them with swimming trunks.
"What do you think you're doing?" She asked. her laugher died the moment I started changing. "I mean, what does it look like I'm doing?" I furrowed my eyebrows together and looked at her in a questioning look.
For a second I swear, I thought I saw red on her feature but when I blinked, it was gone. "Oh, don't worry about it then," she said, going through the wall and leave. I let out a quiet chuckle and packed up my clothes that were on the chair in front of the mirror.
When we were near the pool, she pushed me into the pool. "Hey! What was that for?!" I yelled towards her, all she did was shrug her shoulders and laughed as if the whole event was hilarious.
I could feel eyes piercing through all sides of my body. They must've thought that I'm crazy. I turned around to them looking and apologized. I couldn't bow since I was in the water so I just nodded slightly.
They whispered within each other and ignored me. I turned to face Rhea again and all she could do was laugh! She's always laughing! At me! I ignored her and went for a swim lap around the pool. When I was near the place I started, I could feel my swimming trunks get pulled up, forming a wedgie.
I already knew who it was so I fixed it and continues swimming. Out of the blue, I could feel a heavy load on my back, pushing me down to the bottom of the pool. I struggled to get back up. I tried to turn around to push the weight off but no chances to do so.
I began flapping my arms and kicking the floor of the pool but no luck. Second by second, time walk by as I struggle even more. Running out of air, I try to push myself towards the pool ladder. It was so close, I tried even more to reach it. My lungs running out of oxygen. Struggling to stay awake I lay there at the bottom of the pool.
"Weak boy! Are you there?!" I heard a faint scream from the one who blessed me. I try reaching up, but the weight that's holding me down didn't allow me to do so. Whatever that was, it must hate me so much to want me dead. Help... Help...!

"Seriously Rae, I don't know what happened in your head. Why would you save a human?" A medium-deep voice asked. Rae? Is that Rhea's nickname? It must be, right? I can't seem to open my eyes either.
"You don't understand, again when do you ever. Right now, how can we wake him up?" She asked. It seems to have gone silent. My question is who or what and why. Who or what weighed me down and why did they do that.
A field of what I think is power, zoomed past my body, at least that's what it feels like. I start to feel like I'm slipping away from consciousness slowly. Feels like I'm entering a depth of darkness.

It feels as if I've been transported elsewhere. Water sound is heard. My eyes flipped open and I'm underwater. In a glass area. I walked near the glass and reached up to it, gliding my hand across the water that's on the other side of the glass. Suddenly I couldn't feel my lungs giving out. Why is the air level going down? Why can't I breathe? I feel so suffocated, I held onto my throat as I try so hard to get some air but there was none left. I can't take it, there isn't any oxygen left. Where is this? What is going on? Rhea said we'll have fun today, this is not fun!
"You're just a mere human. You're forbidden to be with Rhea! Do you hear me? Rhea Cardenes will only be with me! I'm the only one worth her love, her attention!" a voice boomed into my eardrums. Who is that? Why? I fell to the ground, I reached up to the glass. It seems as the glass is becoming smaller and is pushing down on me. The progression is so slow that I swear it's as if it's mocking me!
"Weak boy! Wake up! We need to have fun!" Rhea's voice boomed into my eardrums. This is so suffocating, I'm suffering, why am I not fainting? Let me faint! At least I won't have to feel this! Let me go, please!

My eyes jolt open, my throat dry and my chest hurt. Where am I? I looked around, it's a tree, I'm in a tree. I held my chest tight, air seems to be slowly coming back into my lungs. Why did that hurt so much? It was just a dream, isn't it? Or is it a reality type dream? Does that even exist?
My heartbeat thumping hard and fast, pumping more oxygen to my body, especially my brain.
The door opened. A guy with light brown hair crossing his arms, glaring straight into my eyes. I'm so confused. "Why do you even exist? I shouldn't have saved you when Rhea asked me to."
