SPECIAL CHAPTER : RECKSO'S POV
We were both best friends but we fell in love with another best friend. A girl who meant a lot to the both of us. And that girl was none other than Felicia.
Kyler and I were really close since second grade. We met at a beach near our neighbourhood. He was there with his mom while I came there with my dad. But both parents were single parents raising two boys on their own after their partners died from the same accident on the same day.
To me, it felt like fate, some invisible thread tying me and Kyler together. Of course, Kyler thought I was just too superstitious and probably too optimistic but then, we met Valerie Felicia Colemann in fifth grade and I immediately fell for her. I was under her spell completely. Sadly I never manned up to tell her about my feelings even though we went to the same high school and then college. I saw her date a fair share of guys but I could never gather up the courage to confess my deep feelings for her.
