MC .POV.
The looks on their faces was shock and horror as I dug into the flesh of the demon bear, their shock gradually wore off and they went back to what they were doing slightly disturbed and trying to ignore the sound of me eating it was fun to watch them squirm every time I took a bite.
"Does it really taste that good?"
Blue asked but I could tell white wanted to know as well so I tore of a smaller portion and placed it next to them.
"Its delicious, try it yourself"
They both hesitantly took a bite and recoiled immediately.
"Agh! It burns!"
I laughed at them rolling around on the grass.
"Ugh how do you eat that!?"
I continued laughing which might I say foxes don't normally do so the already disturbed elf were now even more shocked one even passed out which made me laugh even more, I rolled over onto my back laughing and eventually calming down to a giggle.
"Are you okay red? What was that?"
"Pff, You mean laughing?"
I was still giggling as I answered.
"Laughing? Is that bad? Are you dying?!"
Oh sh*t I forgot animals don't have a concept of humour.
"No I'm fine, anyways how did you like the demon bear?"
I changed the topic quickly and mocked that blue couldn't eat spicy foods, blue the described the taste of the bear what he liked about and what he disliked about it, according to him it tastes pretty good but the burning sensation is so strong he wouldn't be able to eat much of it I asked white and he pretty much said the same thing, I then told them that if they eat some often enough they will become used to the burning and be able to eat more of it like I can they both agreed they would try their best.
I finished eating the bear living nothing behind not even bones and with a full stomach decided to go to sleep the sun had set a while ago and the elf were already asleep with the exception of one who was on guard duty so I closed my eyes and went to sleep as well.
~later that night~
I woke up to the feeling of water on my side, is it raining? I lifted up my head and looked up to find it was not raining I looked back down and found the source of the water, the injured elf girl who had been stuck under my perfect branch oh such a perfect branch ho smooth and… never mind anyway she had been cleaning my wound out with water she had climbed up on my front legs to reach my shoulder with a bucket of water and I could feel her shaking from fear so I decided to lay me head back down but keep my eyes on her, I was already planning to wash it out tomorrow may as well let her do it now so I won't have to later, the elf seemed to know that I didn't mind her being there and continued to clean out my wound after she had cleaned it out she started wrapping it with bandages I think are made of plant fibres and instead of wrapping them under my side which I was lying on and making me get up she wrapped the bandages around my neck and back to my shoulder, she was almost done and just needed to tie the end so I didn't unravel but she was tired and fell asleep on top of me holding the end of the bandages, I'll let her stay there until morning.
And sure enough when the sun rose she was still there but so were the other elf they had all crowded around me not too close though and were calling out something quietly, I believe it was the name of the elf asleep on me they were trying to wake her up so I decided to help I nudged her gently a few times I even liked her face and she didn't wake up so I decided to growl in her ears and sure enough she woke up startled and confused she looked at me then the elf standing around carefully then said something to them, she then tied the end of the bandages hopped off me and ran to the other elf one of which looked familiar to me I stood up and slowly walked over to him sniffing and trying to remember where I've seen him before he even smelled familiar.
The elf were on guard but didn't fun away and I got very close before I finally remembered where I knew him from, the dungeon! he was part of the small group of elf I meet in the dungeon that one time I started wagging my tail and licked his face all the elf were surprised by my sudden show of affection but I know from the elf I knew that he recognised me too, he put away his weapons and rubbed my snout with his hands and smiling ear to ear while laughing he then said a few things I didn't understand because I don't know elf and the other elf also put away their weapons, cool.
