MC .POV.
The group walked for half the day without stopping up along the beach and a lot of the elf were jumping around and playing at the start but are worn out now and I now know the elf equivalent of 'are we there yet?' As many of the very young looking elf complained about sore feet and the long walk except of course the elf girl resting on my back leisurely eating and chatting with blue and white well not chatting more of a one sided conversation, many others looked at her with jealous eyes and sweaty faces.
After half a day the older elf lead every one back into the forrest to a pretty clearing with lots of flat rocks for every one to sit on, also the trees are back to being to small for me to walk under with my head straight up how annoying, all the elf sat down to rest and eat so I sat down at the edge of the forrest and let the elf girl get off my back blue and white also hopped and slithered down my back then sat under my stomach which started growling since I haven't eaten after the fish I had the other day, a lot of elf turned and looked at me which made me very embarrassed and I placed one of my paws over my face which made the elf girl chuckle I suppose it is a very human Reaction.
The elf girl brought me some food to settle down my stomach and I shared it with blue and white, one elf seemed interested in us as he wandered closer slowly, he talked to the girl elf at my feet and she stood up grabbing his arm and pulling him closer to me he seemed nervous but not scared she put his hand on my fur I didn't want to scare him so I didn't move and let him gently pat my leg, seeing me not reacting a few others came over as well but the girl I saved was still the most comfortable around me, the few elf that came over played happily but carefully around me with white while blue slithered up my back away from all the commotion it looks like the usually quiet white likes attention, he better not turn into one of those obnoxious attention seekers.
After lunch was over the older elf called every one to get moving again so everybody picked up their stuff and followed the group including me, white ran over to me and climbed up my leg as I started walking behind the group of elf but this time was different we didn't return to the beach but instead continued to head deeper into the forrest and walking past a tree with a strange mark on it every now and then, the trees started getting taller and taller at this point I could stand up on my hind legs and still not touch the leafs which was great for me and a lot of the older elf have been coming up to me and what I can only assume is them greeting me, I got quite bored so I decided to count how many elf there were one, two, three…..
Okay so there's thirty two elf in the group nineteen boys and fourteen girls most of the time I couldn't tell the difference in gender so I gave each one a quick sniff to determine their gender if I couldn't tell just by looking, also the group has been stopped for quite a while so I wandered to the front of the group to see what was going on and I heard a deep growling when I got there, a fox there was a fox in front of the group blocking the path i think I read somewhere about foxes like this, a cross fox was it? He looks hurt but I don't think he wants to move anytime soon.
'What's wrong?"
He looked at me still growling.
"None of your business p*ss off!"
He has a nice voice but how rude I'm not going to p*ss off but you did manage to p*ss me off so I won't let you off easy, I yapped at him angrily and yelled he immediatly stopped growling when he realised I wasn't a push over like most foxes are when it comes to other foxes.
"I'll ask again, what's wrong?"
He was more willing to answer this time so he rolled onto his side and pushed his legs out from under him, a bear trap was firmly clamped around his front right paw and looks like I had been there for a day or two some of the elf behind me let out loud gasps at the sight of a human made trap, I've had my suspicions for awhile but I'm pretty sure this it the elf territory one of the three kingdoms so for a trap only human make to be in elf territory means someone is trespassing.
But enough about that some of the elf hurried to the foxes injury but were warded off by him biting at them looks like I'm the only one that can get close.
I lowered my head slowly so I didn't scare him and bit onto the bear trap using my front paws and my jaws to slowly pry the trap open, once it was open enough the cross fox yanked his paw out and jumped up while I let go of the trap being careful not to catch myself, the fox hobbled out of the way of the elf letting hem continue and on their way past a few of the elf picked up the trap and carried it with them it must have been heavy since it needed three elf to carry It.
