SOPHIA'S POV
The moment I drink the potion yet again going against my better judgement my life begins flashing before my eyes in the form of portals. " What's happening? What did it do!?" My memories line up one by one in front of me almost as if daring me to enter the vortex of my brain. " You said you wanted answers, there they are waiting to be found and discovered by you. All you have to do is walk through the first one, watch, and pay attention" she motions towards the row of trauma and sad memories of my life. " These memories will explain the hurt that was caused and everything that you have yet to learn about yourself and allows you a better understanding of the path that was chosen for you. The path I chose for you" rubbing my shoulder in a motherly way encouraging me to begin the journey.
When I decided I would walk into the first door I opened my eyes to find nothing but darkness. Then out of nowhere began hearing voices.
First memory door
Doctor : " you have to keep pushing your almost there just a little further. You can do it just breath and push"
Mother : I can't it hurts
then light opens and i'm being held in the arms of my abuser.. my father. The tears in his eyes tells me that he's happy. " I love you so much Audrey, more than you will ever know. Thank you for giving me a beautiful healthy pup to call my own. To call ours....
Second Memory Door
Audrey: Sophia why don't you go play with the other kids. Mommy and daddy have something important to do alright sweetie?
Sophia: Nooo!! mommy the kids are mean to me and they don't play the games right. Can I just go home with you and daddy pleaseee.
Steve: princess we can't take you with us, but how about we find someone for you to play with before we leave?
Audrey: Hey look theirs a little boy over there on the logs by himself. What do you say Phia, wanna play with him?
Sophia: Ok finee, but we have to have spaghetti for dinner tonight.
She runs off towards the little boy as her parent's walk away leaving her at the park.
Sophia: Hi um.. would you like to play together. The other kids are mean to me and I don't have anyone else to play with
Connor: We can play together I don't mind. I'm Connor
