Does it bother you that happiness is so difficult to achieve?
That we do everything we can to get a single dollar, even putting up with countless hours of misery?
Smiles upon smiles for people who don't even care about you and a job that would hire a new person in a minute.
Why do we have to put up with this? To suffer all to survive?
I wonder the same thing yet this is what our world entails to make it, drive by your mid teens and go to college or work. No other choice.
No other way unless some how you get a plethora of people to like you, then maybe you can get job that actually is tolerable.
Yet that is a rare case and requires a lot of work to even get close to of course it's easier if you have money. But most likely if you are in a job that you dislike, money is something you are trying to have more of rather then what you already have.
A trade for trade except for one could become obsolete at any time while the other could simple just be wasted time.
A tragedy when it comes to a frail mind but what could you do but simply put up with it?
Put up with the long hours, and the abusive fake, drawn out teeth that form a sort of an upside down crescent moon.
Tired stretched marks pooling the outer layer of your eyes and the ticking of the clock haunting your everyday. Simple relaxation seeming like a burden as you wait for the next day to work, and the next and the next.
Fingers hitting the clock each day as the gnawing feeling of being chained to a place hits your mouth, taste of iron taking over.
Will you ever be able to feel safe again? Will the feeling of freedom ever hit your cranium for a second time? Questions and concerns but no answers, just dwelling and an uneasy feeling aching in your stomach.
Not to mention the constant eyes on you, cameras and devices, everything trying to catch you doing something wrong. Sweat beaming down your throat of expectation and it kills you. People will tell you one thing but at the end of the day it's up to you to decide what's right. But what is the right thing to choose? To do? When there are so many choices, so many mistakes you can make with people judging you for each one? How do you not care? How do you know what to do when the time comes?
Is listening to your gut the right thing to do, or do you go with the crowd? Split in a sea of decisions, it seems like everyone has something to say about picking the right job or the right action. Anti this or for that, how do you know which decision to make? If you are doing something right or making a wrong decision.
I suppose that is up to you on what feels the best huh? Or maybe you could go to a higher power and ask for help? Either way, the fact is it is up to you and when it's left in your hands let's hope the decision comes out in a positive outcome.
I am not sure what I would do if I had to survive in the outside world alone, at times the only place I see is outside my window.
The bright lights and iridescent sky, illuminating over a vast town as my mansion stands in its dark corner.
Its own little area away from the world, shut out and closed off in its own little box, as the world around it keeps going.
Sometimes I wonder how it continues to when so much happens…
