Mark and his friends rushed down to the training ground and they saw Selena standing to the other side while on the other side they saw a tall beautiful woman. Mark remembered her as Alpha Thunder's younger sister. He saw her as one of the female delegate escorted by his brother.
"Damn she's tall!". Clint blurted out after sizing her. They just cleared their way to the front.
"Oh no.... She's the daughter of the former Alpha of Light Moon Pack and Alpha Thunder's sister. She's also a great warrior. I heard they are known for their speed and ability to fight as if they can read their opponents minds and actions!". Sam was like reciting a data about Breeze. He was worried because Selena has no wolf yet and her speed is just like the ordinary human.
"Will she going to butcher Selena?". Kevin asked Sam. Worries are written all over his face.
"Don't worry the Luna will win". Rice said while looking at Selena. There's no hint of worry in her eyes.
Mark did not gave any concern to Rice's words. He thought a word of a child is just a simple opinion of their own beliefs and he knows Rice wants Selena to win. He put her down to the ground but still holding her one hand. He is very worried. He scanned the place and didn't see any council or even the Beta. It means the challenge has no permission. He send a direct message to Luke, his Alpha.
Tower.
It's been hours but the meeting hasn't ended yet. The other Alpha has a lot of questions and some of them can't be answered by Luke. He himself is uncertain about Selena's ability. Plus the fact that he is getting bored but he needs to control his temper. He was having a headache and massaging his head when he received a message from Mark.
"What the fuck!". He blurted out loudly. A sudden rage emit in his eyes.
All heads turned to him dumbfounded.
"What's wrong?". Thunder asked Luke with a confused look.
Luke gaze at Thunder with rage. "Your sister challenged my woman!". He said angrily.
"What are you talking about?". Thunder have no idea what is happening. He was surprised to know that his sister challenged Luke's mate. He himself didn't know what his mate look like. And a question also raised in his head.
'Why did my sister challenged Luke's mate?... Unless Alpha Luke is my sister's mate too'. He is making an assumption now. He did not see his sister this morning because he head straight to the tower for the early meeting of all Alphas.
"Isn't your mate the one who cannot turn?". Gavin asked him sarcastically. He saw an opportunity to make him angry. He have no idea who was Luke's mate.
"Shut your mouth, you mutt!". And Luke growled at him. His eyes are burning with rage.
Gavin stand up and growled back. He won't let the Alpha of Shadow Claw bully him. He is also an Alpha even though he is still young.
"Alpha". Drew hold Luke's shoulder. He needs to calm him down or war will start in their very own conference room. "Why don't we see who gave them permission to challenge without your consent". He suggested.
Luke calmed himself. Their meeting is getting him bored and he is starting to hate the faces of the people inside the room specially his love rivals. Thunder and Gavin. He thought, at least this is a good excuse to stop the meeting and see his beloved mate.
"Let's adjourn this.... I need to see my mate". He said calmly now.
"What!". Alpha Connor Shield of Black Moon Pack reacted to his decision. "Aren't we talking a very important matter here?.... I sacrifice my whole Pack just to come here and you can't give me a direct answer now your leaving because of your wolf less woman". He's in rage.
"Alpha Connor..... I never asked you to come here". He paused and look around. "I never asked any of you to come here!". Then he sighed. He calm himself before he speaks. "If the information I gave you isn't enough and you think it's worthless, you may leave I won't hold you back". Luke said coldly. He understand him. This matter is really important but Selena is also important to him. He won't let his mate to be harm by anyone.
"Let's go!". Luke ordered Drew and his other guards.
Training ground.
As fast as lighting. Luke, his Beta and their warrior guards are standing a little bit far from where Selena and Breeze are standing.
"Aren't we going to stop them?". Drew asked his Alpha. He thought they went there to stop the challenge.
"Nope!". He simply answered.
From where they are standing. Luke can hear all the insults Breeze are throwing at his mate. He's in rage so does Lucas, his wolf, but he needs to control himself. One part of his mind is telling him that the situation is kind a exciting. His lips twitch up.
The other Alphas and Betas decided to come and see the challenge. Specially Thunder. His sister is involved in this challenge.
"MATE!".
Both Thunder and Gavin said the same word at the same time. All heads and attentions turned to them. Even the two Alpha who claimed Selena as their mate, both of their eyes landed at each other with disbelief. Luke's face turned dark in rage hearing their claim.
"That's my woman.... How dare you call her mate!". He growled at them.
"What!". Thunder and Gavin was surprised. Not only both of them found out that they are mated to the same woman but the woman herself already belong to Alpha Luke and worst she is wolf less.
"No this can't be happening!". Gavin can't believed nor accept his faith. This is the first time he felt a strong connection to a woman but she's already belong to someone else. Plus she have no wolf.
Thunder didn't say a thing. He was looking at his sister and Luke's mate. He heard someone called her Selena. And he thought she is as beautiful as her name. He is analyzing the situation. If his sister defeat Selena she needs to refuse Luke as her mate. Then he will take her and if Gavin challenged him to take Selena he will accept it then he will deal the last problem she have, she have no wolf. Thunder may know some ways to find out if she really have no wolf.
Breeze's attention was caught by the strong presence of all the Alphas and Betas who gathered in the training ground. She saw her brother standing near Luke. "Mate!". She whispered the word in the air.
Selena heard what Breeze said and she look in her direction. She saw Luke standing with other people she knows as delegates of other Packs. Her eyebrows furrowed very low.
"How dare you call my boyfriend your mate!". Selena got angry. Luke only belongs to her and she have no intention of sharing him.
"Boyfriend?". Breeze laughed hard like a villain. "Maybe for now but after this challenge you have to reject him whether you like it or not!". Breeze said with full of confidence.
"Reject my boyfriend, hah!..... In your dreams!". Selena sneered. "Luke will going to be my husband whether you like it or not!". Selena's words have more confidence because she knows how much Luke loves her.
Luke who was hearing the war of words of both woman is grinning from ear to ear. "My mate is so adorable!". He is enjoying the scene.
"Can you settle this down now!". Connor's words have a hint of disdain. He finds this challenge very annoying.
Luke wants to watch the challenge in silence but because of their guests who buzz like bees everybody now knows that he is in the training ground too. He walks towards the two women to asked who gave them permission to duel.
"My love". Luke tried to approach Selena.
"We will talk later. Let me finish this first". Selena said without looking at him.
Luke stopped and didn't say anything more. He goes back to Drew's side.
"She's angry?". Drew simply asked him.
"Yup!.....very angry!".
Luke and Drew knows Selena's temper and they both know what she can do when she gets mad.
"Well, let the challenge begin!".
Luke now gave the order.
