Chapter 28 - 12 Talismans in Marvel

I was thinking—what if the talismans from Jackie Chans Adventures existed in Marvel? Not as they originally were, but adjusted to how Marvel handles power systems.

Because Marvel doesn't do that "only affects the user" rule most of the time. Stuff like the infinity stones or magic can affect other people, the environment, or even reality itself.

🔮 Core Idea

Basically, each talisman becomes like a mini Infinity Stone with a specific power, but now you can:

Use it on yourself, use it on enemies, on allies or even affect entire areas with them.

The different talismans and what they would be capable of.

🐯 Tiger (Balance)

Originally splits you into good and evil halves.

In Marvel? You could force that onto anyone.

Like imagine using it on Norman Osborn and literally separating him from the Green Goblin. Or on Typhoid Mary to split her personalities.

And if you scale it up? You could try it on demons like Mephisto and see what happens. It would be broken for real.

🐍 Snake (Invisibility)

Originally just makes you invisible.

Marvel version? You can cloak: entire teams, buildings even magical places like Kamar-taj.

And the crazy part is it could hide stuff from magical detection, not just sight. Bypassing magical wards.

🐉 Dragon (Combustion)

Shoots energy blasts.

In Marvel, this becomes straight-up destructive:

City-level blasts Different energy types (fire, plasma, even cosmic-style energy) accessible to the wielder.

Basically like a customizable cannon. Being able to access any and possibly nearly all energies and shoot them from any part of the body.

🐇 Rabbit (Super Speed)

Super speed, simple.

But now you could:

Speed up allies. Maybe even slow down enemies. Mess with perception so everything feels like slow motion.

So it's almost like low-level time manipulation. But more like a speed domain. Considering the talismans would be mini infinity stones (kind of).

🐴 Horse (Healing)

Originally heals the user.

Now?

Heal other people Cure diseases Regrow limbs

And if you push it far enough… maybe even bring someone back to life (with limits, like how Marvel usually balances resurrection).

🐶 Dog (Immortality)

Makes the user immortal.

Marvel version is actually scary:

Give immortality to others Or REMOVE it

So yeah, you could mess with people like Deadpool (who was cursed with immortality by Thanos) in ways nobody normally can.

🐷 Pig (Heat Vision)

Eye lasers.

But now it's not just eyes—you could project heat blasts from anywhere or even surfaces.

So it's like a more flexible version of heat vision, but mystical.

🐔 Rooster (Levitation)

Flight/levitation.

Now you could:

Lift other people Move massive objects Even manipulate gravity itself

Think lifting entire cities type stuff. Like telekinesis but starting at a greater base level than most.

🐵 Monkey (Shapeshifting)

Turns you into animals.

Marvel version goes way harder:

Transform other people temporarily. Rewrite their biology Mimic anyone like Mystique can.

And maybe, just maybe, because they're like mini infinity stones with domains of their own (kinda), having control over a domain of shapeshifting could maybe give the wielder something similar to martian vision (what DC martians used to see other martians even when they shapeshifted into others) and the power to disable other's shapeshifting powers too.

🐂 Ox (Super Strength)

Super strength boost.

Now you can:

Buff allies. Weaken enemies. Scale strength to insane levels (like Hulk territory and maybe even beyond.)

It would be similar to having a strength domain (kinda), so you could grow stronger the more you want.

🐏 Sheep (Astral Projection)

Lets your spirit leave your body.

Marvel version?

You could literally force someone's soul out of their body like the MCU sorcerer's do (Which is actually terrifying if used offensively).

Maybe even be capable of doing other things like having control over ghosts.

🐀 Rat (Animation)

Brings objects to life.

Now imagine:

Entire armies of animated objects Buildings moving Weapons acting on their own

It turns anything into a potential ally (as long as it has no will of it's own). Could possibly even animate a recently dead person to use their strength and possible powers.

Weaknesses

Depends on how strong you are.

Should drain stamina the more people you cloak, or lift, or buff with strength or speed etc.
