A few minutes passed when Ryuchen felt Chloe's peaceful breathing, signaling that she was asleep. He slowly moved his body away to see her angelic face, and fix the hair strand that covered her cheek.
If truth be told, Ryuchen liked Chloe for a long time.
He first saw Chloe when she was only five years old while he was seven years old.
Ryuchen's parents decided to leave his grandparents mansion to move to his mother's dream house. As they unloading their belongings from their car, he was surprised when a young girl suddenly approached him. The young girl's eyes were shining and there was a sweet smile on her lips, she was wearing a disney princess dress but she looked more like a fairy to him, and told them that it was her birthday that day.
"Are you my prince charming?" she asked him with full of excitement after they greeted her happy birthday.
"Huh?" he frowned, but smiled after because of her cuteness. "What do you mean?"
"Because Mommy said there will be a handsome man who will come into my life and he will be my price charming-- Mommy!" she turned and waved to the woman who shouted and ran in their direction.
"Chloe, what are you doing here?" the woman asked the young girl named Chloe, and looked at them to apologize.
"No, it's fine." his mother said. "Your daughter is so cute."
"Thank you."
But the young Chloe didn't remove her gaze on him, her eyes still shining like admiring a beautiful art in front of her, which he finds awkward.
"You are so handsome, so are you my prince charming?"
It was unexpected, so he couldn't help but smile.
"No, I'm not a prince charming." he said then bend his right knee in front of her. "But I am your knight who will protect you from now on."
Since then, they have become close to each other and introduced Jason to him. They're always together that even Chloe's parents are envious of him, so they always invite him and his parents to their house.
When he was at the age of twelve, an accident happened to his family which caused his mother's death. A car collided with their car, because his mother immediately noticed the car, she was able to move him from his seat where the car would crash. His mother saved him but it cost her life.
He got depression after because he witnessed the death of his mother, and no one blamed him which made his feeling even heavier. Chloe stayed by his side, she would just sit beside him all day without saying a word, as if she was saying that she was there and would listen when he was ready.
Gradually, his condition improved and their life back to normal after a couple of months.
Until the kidnapping happened that almost cost his life, someone kidnapped him and tortured him for a huge amount of money. He was about to die until someone saved him, and when he found out that Lyka saved him, he promised to protect her because that's what he couldn't do to his mother when she saved his life back then.
After he was discharged, he found out that Chloe left the country and got mad at her for leaving without saying anything.
Ryuchen waited for Chloe to return and explain why they left, he waited for days, but days turned months then months became years but Chloe didn't come back, and Lyka stayed by his side.
He turned his attention to the person who stayed by his side, he made her famous that everyone knows in their country and gave her everything she wanted. He had focused all his time and attention on Lyka, and left his feelings for Chloe in the corner in his heart.

Ryuchen woke up when he felt someone was moving beside him, he opened his eyes and smiled when he saw his wife squeezed her small body on his chest and buried her face on his neck. He fixed the blanket and covered half of their bodies, and hugged her again along with his left hand which she made into a pillow to make her warm and kissed her forehead.
The more he spends time with Chloe, the more he gets to know her. He didn't pay any attention to her back then, so he just realized that she's beautiful, even when she was asleep.
In the world full of greedy people, Chloe chose to give than to receive. Her life was miserable, but she never took revenge on anyone who harmed and wronged her.
Fortunately, he has a bit of an idea of what will happen to her in the near future, so he has to prevent it from happening again.
Ryuchen didn't realize that he fell asleep again, and saw Chloe still asleep when he woke up. But only for a few seconds, because he felt her move so he closed his eyes once again. He even felt her body flinched and stiffened, maybe she was surprised to see him lying next to her or perhaps she just realized that they slept together. He can even imagine her face was red now but he couldn't smile nor laugh because he was pretending to be asleep, and wanted to see what she would do next.
But to his surprise, a warm hand caress his cheeks and something soft touched his lips makes him want to open his eyes. A few seconds later, he felt Chloe quickly get up from the bed and run towards the door when he opened his eyes, leaving him in a daze.
Ryuchen quickly covered his face with his both hands, his heart was beating so loud while his face was so hot. His heart was shaking with excitement, and thrilled because of what his wife did early in the morning.
That was unexpected, so damn unexpected.
Back then, he didn't know why they were putting that kind of scene in the movie, but now he realized that scene was so damn sweet... and thrilling.
You're really driving me crazy, my wife!
It took a few minutes for Ryuchen to calm himself down before he got up and went outside the room, he was greeted by the aroma from the kitchen where Chloe was cooking. He leaned against the door frame and watched her as she was busy with what she was doing, she hummed softly to herself but he could still hear her.
Until he couldn't stop himself and approached her. He stood behind her, hugged her and rested his chin on her shoulder which surprised her.
"Ohh, y-you're awake." she said embarrassed.
"Yeah, I dreamed that someone kissed me so I woke up." he said while looking at the fried rice she's cooking.
"W-WHAT?!"
Ryuchen turned to her and their eyes met, her eyes widened as she blushed.
"Why?" he asked while smiling innocently.
"N-Nothing." she said, turning her attention to the fried rice that she was cooking. "I... I have finished cooking."
Ryuchen put the plate on the table while she served the food that she cooked and they started eating. They were in the middle of eating when they heard the doorbell, he stood up immediately because he knew it was Robin to give him his clothes.
"Who's that?"
"I asked Robin to buy clothes for me."
After they ate, they started getting ready to go to work.
"Let's go to the company together." he said after he closed the door of her apartment. "You can't refuse, I will not let what happened yesterday to happen to you again."
While they were eating earlier, his wife asked him to hide their relationship when she started working in his company. He agreed to what she wanted to happen, although he already told to all of his employees about their relationship yesterday.
"O-Okay."
Ryuchen and Chloe went together to his company, and noticed the commotion in the lobby. The female receptionist from yesterday immediately approached and greeted them.
"Mr. President, uhmm... we have some problems."
"DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND ME, I'M HERE TO TALK TO RYUCHEN!"
Ryuchen turned to the waiting area and saw Lyka there, beating the guards who surrounded her.
"M-Miss Lyka came and made a scene outside the building, she insisted that she wants to talk to you, Mr. President. I was about to call the police when I saw you and Mad--- Ma'am C-Chloe."
"No need to call the police, I will speak to her." he said and turned to his wife. "Would you like to join me?"
Chloe nodded and walked towards the waiting area.
Chloe saw Lyka's face brightened when he saw Ryuchen, but immediately darkened upon seeing her standing beside him. She smirked seeing how quick her reaction changes, and looked at her sharply as if she did something to her.
"What is she doing here, Ryuchen?" Lyka asked angrily.
"Chloe is my new secretary." he said firmly.
She was relieved to hear that he didn't mention their relationship, because at that moment, a lot of employees gathered and looked at them.
"WHAT?!" Lyka looked at her sharply once again.
"I'm Mr. Ajero's newly hired secretary, is there a problem?" she asked her.
"Newly hired my ass!" Lyka shouted. "You're here because you want to take everything away from me, you thief!"
"Huh?"
"Isn't that your plan?"
"What are you talking about?"
"What else do you want to take from me, Chloe?!"
Chloe just sighed, she couldn't believe that the woman in front of her who was enraged was her cousin whom she considered her sister when they were kids. She really changed a lot since she last saw her, and she didn't like it.
"What have I taken from you, Lyka?" she asked her bravely.
She noticed that Lyka was stunned, perhaps she didn't expect what she said. Chloe also doesn't know what makes Lyka angry with her because she didn't do anything wrong to her, she couldn't understand her either.
"Ah, is it my husband? Maybe you forgot that I was the one who introduced him to you."
"I don't care! He's mine!" Lyka was enraged. "You stole everything, my place too! And my people!"
Chloe retreated when she saw that Lyka was going to attack her, but Ryuchen quickly pushed Lyka away causing her to fall on the floor. It's a good thing he was alert, because otherwise Lyka might have hurt her.
"You're supposed to be on my side, Ryuchen!" Lyka said like insane. "I'm the one who stayed by your side when that b*tch left without saying a word, I've been with you for twelve years and I'm the one who understands you the most."
"Enough Lyka!" Ryuchen looks mad. "And quit acting like a f*cking victim!"
Ryuchen noticed Lyka's face became pale, perhaps she didn't expect what he said. He also realized that Chloe may not know that Lyka pretended to be the one who saved him back then.
"This will be my last warning, you are not allowed to enter my company." he said and looked at the guards. "Now, show this woman the way out."
"Ryuchen, how could you do this to me!"
Lyka shouted angrily as the two guards pulled her out, now he has decided that he will tell everything to Chloe.

Lyka's blood was boiling with anger as she looked at Ryuchen's company after the guards dragged her out.
She couldn't afford to lose Ryuchen, because he has everything that every woman would ask and look for. He's handsome, smart, has a great body and above all his family is richer, richest than everyone else.
Before, she can get everything she wants with just a single snap of her fingers. She can do everything she wants without worrying about anything, but she no longer has all that now.
And it was all because of Chloe, it was all her fault. If she didn't came back, if she didn't agree to that fucking old woman's plan to get married, she would still have Ryuchen until now and she would have been the woman everyone envied.
Lyka's life changed since Ryuchen announced their relationship two years ago, she received various movie projects and TV series. She has also been the cover of several famous local magazines, in other words she became the face of the entertainment industry in the country. Many artists are jealous and angry with her, but she doesn't care about them because she enjoys her popularity.
But the popularity she enjoys may disappear if people find out the truth, that her relationship with Ryuchen was fake and he was already married to someone else. So before other people find out about their marriage, she has to bring their divorce papers to the court to begin the process of terminating their marriage and after that, she will make Chloe disappear in their lives.
