Shocked by the sound, the adulterous couple looked at the door only to find Li Jie's cold eyes.
Tang wei looked at Li jie and her heart sank. She hurriedly pushed Long Jun who was also equally shocked and started to run into Li Jie arms without even putting on her clothes, and started blaming Long Jun for what has happened.
But before she could even touch him, he dodged her and the men who entered the room stood before him as bodyguards blocking her from reaching Li Jie.
"Miss, please don't dirty our boss's expensive clothes with your adulterous hands" - the bodyguard said without even looking at her.
Realising she was naked, Tang wei hurriedly went back, pulled the bedsheet off the bed and wrapped it around herself.
Meanwhile by this time, Long Jun has fully dresses and his mind was running 1000 thoughts per minute. when he turned and Looked at Li jie who has a dangerous smirk on his lips, he realised this was all a trap.
Li Jie looked straight into the eyes of Long Jun without speaking. Sensing the coldness in his eyes, Long jun realised he just have to get out of this situation if he wants to be alive.
"Elder Brother, it's not what you it is!! Please let me explain" said Long Jun whose legs were about to give up.
" Ah Jie, don't misunderstand me. I was blackmailed by Long Jun and was forced. You have to trust me. he was capable of assaulting a woman under all our noses, i was just a woman alone, i had no choice " Tang wei said with teras flowing from her eyes.
But there was still no response from Li Jie.
Everyone in the room including the adulterous couple knew how ruthless can Li Jie get. They have seem him ruling the business world with poise and the underworld with ruthlessness.
There was no doubt in their death if Li Jie would not get manipulated this time. But little did they know that their so called secrets were never secrets in front of him.
Though he loved her sincerely, after realising something was amiss he started keeping an eye on both of them. Then, he understood what has love given him in return and decide not to love anyone in his life anymore.
As thousands of thoughts running in their minds about how Li Jie was going to deal with them, suddenly Li Jie's cold voice sounded in the room
"have you ever heard of a saying? A cat does not kill the rat without playing with it first."
Understanding what he meant, the colour on their faces drained.
"did you people think that you could fool boss with those little brains of yours. he had known your affair since a long time."- Li jie's assistant said.
"Li Jie please believe me i was forced into this. I love you and why will i cheat on you for him." pleaded Tang wei .
"I don't hit woman or else you would have been paralysed by now. Do you think i am a fool to believe you or do you think you people were such great actors that i couldn't find out what was happening " snapped Li Jie
Turning towards Long Jun who had already turned white , Li Jie said "I let you leave Li corporations without breaking your bones because Grandma asked me to.
But you still dared to mess around behind my back? you must not fear death." - he spat coldly.
With that Li Jie gave the bodyguard a look. Understanding his look, the bodyguard went directly to Long Jun and pushed him to the ground.
Soon another Bodyguard stood in front of him and stepped on his hands. Only when the cracking sounds could be heard did he pulled out his leg. before he could realise his hands were broken, The bodyguard stepped hard on his ankles where another round of bone crackling sounds could be heard.
Turning towards the women who was ready to faint, Li Jie smiled giving her goosebumps and said
"Miss Tang, I will make it easier for you. As long as you don't show up in front of me ever again in your life, I will let you live. But the moment you show up, please know that it will be your last day on earth."
"And you my little brother weren't you after my family?? you wanted to be famous?. I will grant you your wish. I will make sure you become popular"
" I will make sure to let you feel that dying is better than living. But don't worry I won't let you die. Even though you want to die, you cannot." - Saying those Li Jie turned to leave the villa.
As soon as he took a step, Tang Wei who already understood that there is no meaning in putting up a pretence, came running and held his legs to beg him.
" Li Jie i am sorry i made a terrible mistake. Please forgive me, i love you, i can not live without you. I will mend my ways. I will do whatever you ask me to. Please dont leave me please Li Jie"
Li Jie looked at person who is holding his legs -This was the person he loved, this was the person he gave his heart to. But what did he get in return? - Heart break. Now looking at the same person he felt disgusted. He couldn't believe that he got himself deceived by believing this woman.
Without saying anything he just pushed Tang Wei aside and walked out of the room. Tang wei who was about to run after him was held by the bodyguards.
Long Jun whose hands and legs were broken kept on screaming. The screams of Long Jun were enough for Tang Wei to understand what is going to happen to her, but will they change their ways when their bodies are damaged and their brains are still functioning as it is. As the saying goes "a leopard doesn't change its spots", people who are greedy to their bones doesn't change.
This confrontation was just a sample for them. Dealing with this kind of people was like a piece of cake for him.
Li Jie knew this wasn't going to make them good but he couldn't kill Long Jun and make Grandma sad. As far as Tang wei is concerned, he just didn't want to deal with her. was it out of love? or hatred? he doesn't know.
This was the day in his life where he promised himself he wouldn't ever love any other woman. Though everyone claims that a cold person doesn't have any sentiments. every cold person has a heart deep within but when that heart gets broken, its not easy for them to trust anyone else.
Even though Li jie looks cold, he never treated anyone wrong. he always respected everyone irrespective of their position and age. That was what Li family has always taught him and his brother.
He was cold on the outside but very kind and passionate on the inside. when he fell in love with Tang wei, he imagined giving her the world. He knew that she was going to be the only woman in his life. But it only remained as his imagination and his heart was closed for women.
even though Mother Li didn't like Tang wei and strongly objected their relationship. Li jie stood by Tang wei only to find out he was fooled all along.
But when one thing is taken from you, the universe will provide you with another best possible thing and When the right time comes, the right person walks into your life without any notice.
Is life complicated or simple? it only depends on what situation you are in and how you take it.
There is a reason why we are born with heart and a brain and why the emotions and feelings are related to heart and the power to control them is given to our brain.
