Wang Tian, has been summoned to another world by a Summoner with the all time classical situation of defeating the Demon King!
Having even just spawned, and barely able to even steady himself, Wang Tian immediately hears Mou Yuan, The Summoner: "I know this is all confusing, but you need to know that you're in a world of magic, and there is a Demon King you need to defeat. In your world do you have a story about a System where a Goddess controls it on your behalf?"
Wang Tian: "What? Why are you skipping dialogue so fast? Yeah, Danmachi. The characters gain stats through their experiences, and they follow a Goddess. The Goddess will update their status once a while. And updates will change their physical status and abilities."
Mou Yuan: "Lucky. Ideal Scenario 1 has been used."
Mou Yuan: "That's right. Our world uses the same System as that novel. Quite a rare case since I'll be able to skip explaining a lot of things. I'll call the Goddess to take out a guidebook so you can confirm if it is the same."
Wang Tian: "??? They just so happen to have a guidebook and Goddess with the same as Danmachi?"
As Wang Tian and Mou Yuan have a stareoff. Wang Tian eventually convinced himself through mere thoughts.
Wang Tian: "Maybe they summoned me since I have the general idea of their world."
Only after Wang Tian convinced himself, does the Goddess happen to enter with a guidebook containing what Wang Tian knows.
Mou Yuan: "Scenario 1 has passed phase 1, and phase 2 did not even need my intervention to continue."

So you all might be thinking. Why is Mou Yian talking about Scenarios and Phases.
The world Wang Tian is indeed a world of magic and Demon Kings.
Except.. Wang Tian has an innate ability that caused him to be chosen as a Summoner.
And that ability is. "Reality Bending: Bends reality based on what the user truly believes is true."
That is why Mou Yuan has to introduce the world and their predicament immediately even before Wang Tian can steady himself.
"Why not risk and say there is no Demon King?"
Summoned Person Number 780: While they convinced this random person that there is no Demon King. This random person didn't understand why he was summoned and deduced he was summoned as he was supposed to be the Demon King. Resulting in the original Demon King dying and him replacing the Demon King. Which took a quarter the world and many years to rebuild the damage from.
"Why did they pick a Reality Bender ability?"
Summoned Person 2 to 100 all had great abilities, but the damage the Demon King done to the world is still massive. A Reality Bender can be convinced to restore the damages, etc.
"Why is there a Demon King?"
The first time a Hero(Summoned Person 1), which happens to be Reality Bender made it far to defeating the Demon King. He truly believed the Demon Kings appear once in a hundred to thousand years. Causing the cycle to repeat endlessly.
"Why are there phases to each Scenario? And what are Scenarios?"
Each Scenario is a guideline written by predcessors, Scenario 1 is the ideal scenario, as it doesn't alter the world too much, and has multiple data and a path to defeating the Demon King.
Each Phase can continue push the "Hero" down a specified path.
Reality Benders if properly used is able to defeat the Demon King with essentially no damage to the world.
Trying to convince a Reality Bender something that they are not 100% believe in can backfire. And could lead up to having to resummon. And each summon takes up a lot of resources requiring decades to collect.
Alright, now let's fast-pace this.
Some Plot Points:
1. Eventually Wang Tian will overhear that his actual ability is Reality Bending based on his beliefs. And everyone lied to him to reach a goal they want. Causing an issue with his abilities for a while.
2. The people attempts to convince him, once he defeats the Demon King, he'll return to his world, and the world will no longer have a Demon King forever.
*Before the Fight*
Wang Tian: "I need to believe in myself. Otherwise this will be a tough battle where I can only come up on top barely surviving."
*Epic Fight Scene between Wang Tian and the Demon King*
As Wang Tian narrowly dodges the Demon King's final attack. He stab his sword into the Demon King's heart.
"It took me a while, as expected. My belief in defeating the Demon King isn't strong."
As Wang Tian pictures a gate appearing to his world, he falters. "What if I can't manipulate my powers? No.. If I believe in it. It'll appear."
As tears goes down Wang Tian's closed eyes, he knows, deep down. He can't manifest a gate anymore. His faith in the world that has lied to him has impacted him.
"NO NO NO. I DEFEATED THE DEMON KING! I AM A HERO! A HERO CAN'T BE STUCK HERE!"
As Wang Tian closes his eyes, he attempts to feel his world. The familiar earpiece on his ears. The familiar music. The familiar chair. The familiar desk.
As he opens his eyes, he smiles.
"I'm home"

Demon King POV
The Demon King, in his planning to defeat this Reality Bending Hero has plotted many things. Even by exposing the Hero's true abilitiss. But his defeat was definitely the lamest.
Not only was he unable to use spells that he could've. His entire body was controlled to lose precisely. His mind was trapped, and he slowly feel his body dying. And there was nothing he could do.
The Hero may have not noticed it. But he truly believed it would be a uphill battle. So the Demon King's body has been controlled into such a battle.
As the sword pierces the Demon King's heart. The hurt of his death giving his last few seconds free to him.
"I'm free."
Mou Yuan's POV
Mou Yuan laughs manically as he can easily tell the Demon King is controlled into his own demise.
As the Demon King falls, he looks at Wang Tian, waiting for him to conjuror up a gate home. Every Hero who believed in them always did.
But not this time.
The trauma Wang Tian had made it impossible to conjuror up a gate home. Deep down in his heart, he knew his ability was a fake. What if he failed? How does he let his ability control something? How do you believe a gate can magically appear?
As Mou Yuan sees Wang Tian's cry of grief, and his ending with closing his eyes. Mou Yuan's mind drifted to the final phase. "Phase X: If the Hero doesn't, or is unable to return home. KILL AT ALL COST. A reality bender is too much of a risk."
As Mou Yuan takes out his staff, and prepared to cast. A change has occured.
Wang Tian has manifested a earpiece in his ear, a chair where he is at, a desk.
Mou Yuan watch as the ripples of reality bending law ripples through the world. Changing his world to Wang Tian's.
Mou Yuan: "Since he can't go back. He made this world his world..."
