( Yuuki's POV )
After my night with Lu, Hilde and Ravel, I woke up a little later than usua but I immediately began to mobilize our troops and within hours the area around the crystal pillars, north of our kingdom was now filled with soldiers.
I was sitting on the shoulder of a berserker type Frame Gear and near me was Ende and the two of us were staring at the empty place that will soon be filled with Phrases.
Yuuki: Hey, your girl can take humanoid form, is that something unique to her or can we expect other humanoid phrases?
Ende: Only phrases of the highest level can change shape at will but would rarely choose to take human form.
Yuuki: That's good to hear, that wasn't going to stop me but there are some people who would pull their punches when faced with enemies that look human.

The next thing that happened a large number of portals opened in the center of the area and endless Phrases began to appear, Many had the appearance of insects and all were the size of a person, these were lower class phrases, the most common class that existed.
I placed my phone near my head, and my voice was transmitted to everyone on the battlefield.
Yuuki: First wave, advance!
All the soldiers were equipped with weapons effective against the Phrase but they were still annoying creatures to face so the soldiers formed into groups of three or more, some flying ships also provided support and the initial attack of the Phrases was handled quite well but things were not going to be that easy.
More portals opened on the ground and in the sky, Intermediate class Phrases flooded the place and some advanced class Phrases like the giant crocodile he had faced a while ago appeared among the other Phrases.
The concentration of Phrases even affected the environment, the sky turned a dark purple and energy particles appeared on the ground, as if flowers of light had suddenly sprouted but I didn't let those events break my concentration and I continued giving orders.
Yuuki: second wave fly over the enemy and third wave flank them.
After giving the next orders I entered the cockpit of my Gear, the place was completely dark but when the Gear turned on I had a perfect view of the outside, as if I was still outside the Gear.
The second wave of our forces consisted of hybrid Gears and some female soldiers in IS and the third wave were battalions of Frame Gears, Things continued well for the first and second waves of soldiers But before the Frame Gears reached the advanced class Phrases, they charged some powerful attacks, but that was not aimed at our soldiers, their target was the northern crystal pillar, that pillar was partially submerged in water and was the least defended, that was an acceptable loss so I ordered the forces stationed there to split up and move to other pillars.
The Phrase fired powerful lasers that succeeded in destroying a crystal pillar but as soon as they fired their attacks me and the other Frame Gears entered attack range, I grabbed one of the crocodile-shaped Phrases by its tail and threw it high into the air, I then aimed my shoulder-mounted missile launcher at him but before I could fire another giant gorilla-shaped Phrase jumped at me, I grabbed the creature by the head before it could get to me in grab, The crocodile Phrase tried to attack me at that moment but it was destroyed by a precise shot from the Gear Stella and for the Phrase that I was holding I used my hand to extract its entire core, Now that was an empty husk that I threw aside.
My missile launcher was ready to fire so I rained missiles on another giant Phrase, but it was able to protect its core by using other Phrases as a shield.
I was going to continue my attack but at that moment I received a message from Matsu.
Matsu: [ Yu-tan, it seems that some soldiers arrived at the medical camp and the number of Phrases is not going down, their numbers are higher than estimated. ]
Yuuki: Order the first wave to retreat, use the flying ships to give them cover, also take control of my Gear, I'm going out.
Matsu: [ Understood, good luck out there. ]
The cockpit of my Gear opened automatically and I jumped out of there, when hitting the ground a large amount of Phrases turned to me, the garment Yasaka had given me worked well and I was able to enter sage mode instantly without using any tricks.
Yuuki: Alright girls, it's time to get serious.
I got into a running position and then I ran at high speed in a straight line and crossed the battlefield in a few seconds, the place where I passed was completely cleared of Phrases but they were immediately replaced.
Faced with the situation, I put on a smile and jumped into the battle immediately, I jumped all over the place, crushing Phrases under my feet, grabbing some Phrases and smashing them against other Phrases or simply destroying their cores with blows that exploded the Phrases internally.
How Matsuri said the Phrases numbers was more than we anticipated, maybe three times more than anticipated but when my Sekireis and I were on the scene their numbers didn't matter and after a few minutes of hard battle it was easy to say that the enemy reinforcements were running out and Matsu contacted me to confirm that.
Matsu: [ The number of Phrases fell below our expectations and the frequency of reinforcement input is less than half.]
Things were progressing well but when the battle was nearing its end the enemy had o second breath and they brought out the really big guns so to speak, I hate when the enemy does that.
Matsu: [ Yu-tan I am detecting a large energy signal entering the battlefield, this is the highest signal we have detected from a Phrase. ]
Yuuki: Yes, I feel it too... I'm looking at it too.
From a large portal in the sky, I saw a kind of floating crystal fortress emerge and park itself above the battlefield.
