( Yuuki's POV )
After finishing my battle with Kokabiel I found Saya's castle after exploiting the forest for a while, protecting the entrance were the twins Kyoko and Kyoka and a hybrid Gear piloted by Felli.
Acting quickly, I signaled Pheliss and Pyra to distract the guards, and after nodding, they jumped out of hiding.
Kyoka: Oh Yuuki is here! Quickly call Stella back.
It seems Saya had a contingency plan for me and I'm pretty sure more than just Stella would be coming.
My Blades formed walls of fire and crystals that gave us passage to the castle and Mythra and I ran straight there, the twins jumped on the walls and tried to stop us, Kyoka was wearing a light IS armor with two large triple-barreled cannons and she fired half a dozen powerful Glintstone bullets at us.
Kyoko had a new spear that could use powerful incantation, she covered her spear with a golden lightning and when she prepared to throw it more spears appeared around her.
The twins attacked at the same time but with our speed Mythra and I were able to run past those attacks.
When we entered the castle there was no one on the first floor so we wasted no time climbing the stairs, when I set foot on the second floor my instincts screamed at me and I jumped to one side, Mythra went to the other side and the place where we were was hit by a Cero laser.
Looking in the direction of the attack I saw the main guards of the castle, Saeko and Lilith.
Lilith had a sacred gear which was a black metal rifle with a basic design but could use a multitude of different ammunition and could absorb Lilith's energy to unleash different energy attacks like the Cero, a creation of mine of course, she and Saeo had some IS light armor but they were not activated.
Saeko had two Katanas in her waist, one was a Katana without spatial abilities but made with mythril and the other was the sacred gear that I had created for her, the two girls got into battle stance and I raised my eyebrow as Saeko drew her mythril katana.
I stuck my black spear into the ground and created a crystal wall that separated Mythra from the others, I was going to keep Saeko and Lilith busy while she searched for the flags in the base.
Lilith immediately pointed her weapon at the wall but I caught her attention with a pillar of light that moved towards her with a swing of my colossal sword, then I flew forward and clashed swords with Saeko.
Yuuki: Why don't you use the Katana I created? Are you not satisfied with it or do you think you can defeat me without it?
Saeko: jeje It's not that, the Katana you gave me is the best sword I've ever held so I can never point that at you, even if this isn't a real fight... Having said that I do intend to defeat you.
A reaper spirit appeared behind Saeko and the thing swung its giant scythe at me, I jumped back to avoid the attack and while I was in the air Lilith fired a couple of Ceros at me, evidently she had no problem using the weapon I had created against me.
I covered one of my wings with Touki and with a flap of it Lilith's attack flew behind me, My tails then moved like a whip and attacked Lilith but she was able to dodge by jumping back elegantly, at the same time she activated her IS armor, Immediately, drones deployed and fired a burst of lasers, and Saeko went for a quick stab.
For me it was as if things were in slow motion, I closed my eyes and in an instant I gathered natural energy, Yasaka told me that she knew someone who used a similar technique and called it sage mode, so I'll be calling it the same.
Entering sage mode I hit the back of Saeko's Katana with my heel and it stuck into the ground, Using Carian Retaliation I transformed Lilith's attacks into energy swords that flew back towards her, then I hit Saeko in the stomach with my palm and a Touki shockwave sent her flying.
When the girls' attacks failed I stood still for a moment then I raised my left hand to my side, I fired a Cero without looking and Saeko's reaper spirit, which tried to sneak behind me, was caught by my attack.
Lilith looked at me intrigued and she fired an energy bullet that bounced off the glass wall and went for my head but I tilted my head back and the attack flew past me.
Lilith: You're always jumping ahead of us, I think I'll have to show this sooner than expected.
Lilith seemed determined to show her ace up her sleeve but Saeko stopped her by putting a hand in front of her, this is surely part of Saya's plan but before I could think more about it my instincts turned me around and I put a barrier in front of me, Glintstone bullets came from outside the castle and as the wall crumbled I saw Stella in her Gear, I could have been in a bind here but luckily I received a mental message from Mythra.
Mythra: [ I love, I have the flags. ]
Hearing her message I fired a Cero into the sky and opened the third floor and the roof, I flew out of the place and Mythra followed behind me, Stella kept shooting but I could basically see her attacks before she shot.
We were about to get out of her attack range when a wall of energy petals blocked our path, this was Felli's work but she was nowhere to be seen, I used my bone tails to catch and concentrate the petals into spheres at the tip of my tails, and I used that to attack Stella, with that our escape was complete.
Once in the castle, Pheliss and Pyra who took the long way met up with us, with our attack we jumped to first place.
There was almost no time left in the competition so I just watched from the roof of our castle and while I was busy with that Sif appeared next to me, she put some flags next to me and she raised her head proudly.
Yuuki: Good girl, you earned yourself a special snack after this.
*Woof*
When my whole team was together we saw a decent sized explosion in the distance, That wasn't the direction of Saya Castle so I thought the Fallen Angels Castle was attacked, the siren of the end of the competition sounded and my suspicions were confirmed, we were in first place, Saya and her team in second, and the fallen angels in third place with zero points, the explosion was probably their castle being destroyed.
With that the second event ended, my team won one hundred points, the zombie elimination squad with fifty points and the fallen angels twenty-five points.
