Chapter 4 - Peace and Wisdom

Chapter 4: Peace and Wisdom

For centuries, the worlds of Earth and Gaia had enjoyed an uneasy peace, their inhabitants living in harmony despite the vastly different paths they had chosen. Yet, beneath the surface, a ticking clock threatened to shatter the fragile balance. The worlds' shared history was marked by tragedy, for they were once a single realm known as Chrono, home to five legendary guardians who had sworn to protect it.

However, one of the guardians betrayed his comrades, joining forces with the Corpse, a ruthless organization driven by an insatiable hunger for power. The Corpse's dark ambitions had brought Chrono to its knees, and it was only through the heroic actions of Abraham "GrandStan" Stanford, the sole Sun attuned wizard in history and leader of the legendary guardians, that the realm was saved from destruction.

With his unparalleled power, Abraham Stanford separated Chrono into two distinct worlds, Earth and Gaia, sealing the leader of the Corpse, Death, within a time-stopper machine. This ancient device, capable of halting time itself, had been the only means of containing Death's malevolent energy. Yet, the seal was not meant to last forever, and the 300-year limit was fast approaching.

King Vladimir and Queen Archandia were acutely aware of the looming threat. As the imprisonment period drew to a close, the Corpse would inevitably return, and Death would reclaim his throne as the King of Chrono. The very thought sent shivers down the spines of the two rulers, for Death was no ordinary foe. With three attunements – Blood, Fire, and Moon – he was virtually invincible, and his power had been honed by centuries of darkness and hatred.

In preparation for the impending battle, Queen Archandia had created a portal between Earth and Gaia, allowing the Archadians and Stanforce to join forces and coordinate their efforts. Yet, despite their combined strength, the two teams faced a daunting challenge: finding and destroying the time-stopper machine, hidden somewhere on Earth, before Death could break free. The fate of both worlds hung precariously in the balance, and the clock was ticking.
