Yet, Ray of the present was not weak. For he had trialed and toiled until he could call himself one of the strong.
With the teachings of the church and the Bosque Kingdom he became one of humanity's powerhouses. He was skilled not just in Archery but also magic and espionage. His knowledge and wisdom was also above most.
His strategic mind saw him besting many opponents with only one of his myriad skills.
Ray glistened with confidence whenever he walked, whenever he breathed, whenever he spoke. He was entitled to that confidence.
But Ray, he was not the strongest. And in many ways, he was still not strong enough.
"Damn it!" Ray cursed as he stumbled through the dark cavern. He had to admit it, that thing he faced was on a whole other level of strength.
