The air around had fallen silent, and the area surrounding the Divine Tree was quiet with not the slightest stir.
Beichuan Si and Ihui Ju Xu hid behind the Divine Tree, wordless.
It was unknown where Ihui Nai Luo had gone, for there was still no sign of her.
"Why is she so slow?" Ihui Ju Xu murmured softly.
She and Beichuan Si indeed were a 'bit' ahead in progress, but Ihui Nai Luo shouldn't be this slow.
It seemed as though he heard her muttering, so Beichuan Si turned and glanced at Ihui Ju Xu.
"Sorry, Beichuan Master."
Although she did not understand what she did wrong, feeling Beichuan Si's gaze made Ihui Ju Xu want to apologize.
"I do not mean to blame you," Beichuan Si casually replied, before asking, "How much longer until midnight?"
Ihui Ju Xu reflexively glanced at the delicate sandglass she was cradling in her hand.
Only the last quarter of the sand remained.
"It looks like there are only two or three hours left," she calculated and replied.
