I got home quite early actually, I originally planned to return at 7pm but because of the events which occurred today I returned by 5pm.
"I thought you said you would not be getting back early?" asked Ruby as I entered the house.
"I ended up wrapping things up pretty quickly once I was out" I replied with a smile, I could not even begin to imagine how she would freak out if she heard I was abducted.
"It doesn't matter just put them in the freezer and go take a shower then come back down for some snacks" she said as she left to check if the kitchen had been cleaned.
Nodding I went upstairs to my room to take a shower. The cold water from the shower poured on me like rain as I closed my eyes to let the cold water wash away my chaotic thoughts.
I had finished dressing up and was on my way down when my phone rang.
"Hello, Hyla?" asked Katrina from the other end of the phone.
