"Understood." Minerva started to slow down the feed so that Shiro could see what was inscribed on the disks.
Shiro left his seat and looked at the image up close. He actually became a bit excited thinking about the unknown object and foreign technology. To him this might give him some ideas on how to utilize the strange energies that were coursing through his body.
"There seems to be multiple circles engraved onto the surface areas of each disks. Each one is different than the other. Hmm!!" Shiro raised his eyes as he looked at the top layer of the topmost disk. "This one seems to contain only one big circle. Wait!! Minerva take a picture of the top disks surface and bring it up please." Shiro suddenly called Minerva and told her to take image of the top layer of the topmost disk and display it on the main display.
"Affirmative." Minerva started to do what Shiro asked her to do.
"Shiro what happened suddenly? Did you find something?" As Shiro so abruptly asked Minerva to do it that it seemed that he found something.
"You see it seems that I have probably seen something similar to that circular drawing somewhere. But I can not remember it. I may be wrong but to confirm it I need to see it clearly." Shiro who saw the circular drawing for the first time was perplexed as to how was it possible that he had seen something like this before.
"how is this even possible?" At Shiro's word Rin became perplexed as this was simply too absurd for it to happen. As Shiro's home universe did not have any such thing no matter how advance it was.
"I am as confused as you are. That is why I asked Minerva to take a detailed image of it and confirm my doubts." Shiro replied to Rin and waited for Minerva to finish.
"It's done." Minerva pulled out the image on the main display and enlarged it as much as possible.
"This thing looks awfully similar to a magic circle in fantasy novels." What appeared before Shiro is a circle similar to a magic circle which contains bizarre symbols in different layers. And there was a large crest drawn in the middle of the circle.
"This crest why does it look so familiar?" The more Shiro looked at the crest in the circle the more he felt it was familiar to him but he could not remember what it was or where he had seen it. "Minerva can you do a search in the database and see if there is any match with the crest from the image." Since he could not remember Shiro asked Minerva to check with the Ship's database and see if there is any match, Since Aurora contained most of Earth's knowledge.
"Affirmative." As Minerva started to search the database Shiro waited for the result while trying to remember it himself.
After a few minutes of wait Minerva came with the result. "I am sorry Shiro but, there was no match found in the database." Minerva gave Shiro the answer that he was not expecting, he was sure that he saw that crest somewhere so it was indeed odd for Minerva to not find something like this.
"Did you check everything in the ship?"
"Affirmative. Al data from the ship's database has been checked and there was no match."
"No no what I mean by everything I mean everything such as personal collections like e-books and even information stored in my library and personal database. Also check everything from my parents database. Check everything." Shiro was more than certain that there was information about this somewhere in the ship.
"No I did not check any of your personally owned data. I'll check them now. Please wait." As Shiro suspected Minerva did not check any of the data personally owned by the crew members in consideration of their privacy. But since Shiro Himself asked her to do it She started to check again.
After waiting for a minute or two. "Found a match." Minerva came with the news Shiro was so eagerly waiting for.
"Show me and where did you find it?" Shiro looked at Minerva and asked.
"From your library. And this information is quite abnormal. Please take a look." Minerva brought up a image on the main display which contained the same crest and a name.
As soon as Shiro saw the name he became speechless for a few moments. "Sh*t! What the hell!! how is that even possible." Shiro covered his face with his hand and plopped on the captain's chair and started to mumble something.
"Shiro What happened?"
"Hey Shiro are you ok?"
Both Arturia and Rin became worried for Shiro as he was acting abnormally.
Shiro moved his hand away from his face and looked at the girls. "I am not ok. There is no way I am ok after seeing this."
"What happened and what does this name mean?" Rin asked not understanding what Shiro was saying.
"If I am not wrong this name represent a Marimo." Again Shiro said something totally incomprehensible.
"Marimo? What does a moss have to do with this?" Rin still could not understand what Shiro was saying.
"No no you don't understand. I am not talking about a moss or anything. What I am talking about is one of the most intelligent shrewd and strong Marimo there is." Shiro looked at Rin and said dejectedly.
