"We felt that it was too odd so we contacted our people in NASA and found out that many of the crafts around the solar system became inactive due to a possible solar flare. As for the crafts orbiting Mars and the rovers, all of them became inactive." She conveyed to the man what she found out about the situation regarding the space crafts around the world.
"All of them? Are you sure about that? " The man frowned heavily and started to think.
"Yes, at first I thought it was odd so I contacted the other agencies around the world, and it seems that something like that really happened." The girl continued. "But the strange thing is there was no visual confirmation of the solar flare except some data. We are still looking for further data regarding the incident."
"No that is enough. You may stop everything regarding this project." The man suddenly told the girl to stop the project for the time being.
"Huh." She became surprised and looked at the man. "But we have come so far and worked so hard for this project are you sure?" She asked the man in a puzzled tone.
"I am sure. I have my reasons. Do not worry as we will continue this later. But for now." The man suddenly brought up his hand in front of him. On his hand a glowing circle with many strange symbol appeared. This circle and the symbols are almost identical to the one found on the device in the orbiter.
"That is." The girl became surprised after seeing the circle. "Your majesty are you really going to do this? It was very hard for us to send that thing in Mars's orbit." What appeared on the man's hand was a self destruct command.
"It has served it's purpose. Without the Orbiter it has no use and no other function. It is similar to a parasite. And since it's host is dead there is no use in keeping it. Having it there may cause unnecessary problems in the future" The man explained to the girl. "And most importantly I do not want to leave any evidence behind." As he said that the circle on his palm glowed brightly for a while then disappeared. "It's done. You may leave and focus on the next major project." The man told the girl.
"As you wish your majesty." The girl was a little sad as she put a lot of effort into this project, she did not expect it to get scrapped. She turned around to leave.
But suddenly the Man called her. " Yuri even if I told you to stop the project for now. It does not mean it is scrapped. I want you to keep an eye on the space agencies and gather all the data related to this incident and pass them to me. Can you do it?"
"Yes your majesty." Suddenly the girl whose name was Yuri became a lot energetic.
"You may leave now."
"Then I will take my leave your majesty." Yuri turned around and left with a better mood than what she came in with.
After Yuri left the man sat there for a while thinking. And then he tapped the desk in front of him. A circle appeared where he tapped and an hologram of a man appeared. He was a handsome man who seems to be in his early 20's. He had shoulder length crimson red hair and blue-green eyes. He looked at the man and said "Ajuka what made you make a call to me at this hour."
