Chapter 2 - Chapter 1 Rebirth

"Brother, I will help you," the young Mio spoke tenderly to her big brother, chasing him happily. She was still a young lady and had a baby face. She was cute, but her big brother was disgusted by this young lady.

He pushed the young Mio indifferently, walked away, and didn't look back. The young Mio could only cry in silence. The young Mio didn't dare to move. She knew how harsh her brother was, but never gave up. Her young heart believed that one day her big brother would be gentle towards her. But her hopes were in vain, and her big brother never gave her the things she wanted.

Mio lived all of her childhood in an orphanage as far as she remembered. She didn't know her parents. Did she have parents? She never knew about this. She didn't have a cheerful character and liked to be alone, which was why she didn't have a friend. She read books alone in the corner of the room.

Because of her character, she got bullied easily, and she didn't show any expression even though someone hurt her badly. She didn't cry, didn't smile—yes, you are right. She was expressionless. Because of this, they were tired of bullying her and let her be in her world.

Mio didn't show anything on the surface, but she was hurt deep inside. Because of bullying, she became silent and introverted. She didn't want to show her weakness to other kids. She didn't remember her parents, but her parents once said that she had to be a strong girl and shouldn't let anyone bully her.

Even though you get bullied, don't show your weakness to them. Mio always remembered her parents' advice to her. She didn't know why her parents didn't want her, but she knew that they still loved her. Maybe someday they would pick her up from the orphanage, but they never came.

Mio wasn't sad; she thought carefully. Maybe her parents were busy, so they forgot to pick her up. She waited for a year, but her parents didn't show up at all. She lived in the orphanage at the age of 4 years old. She remembered her age clearly. It was her birthday, but her parents didn't pick her up.

She was sad. Why didn't they want me? Was I a bad girl? I will be a good girl, I will help with chores, I will take care of the house, I will wait obediently, and I won't cry. Please pick me up soon. I was alone and sad, and I didn't want to be left behind. Why didn't you want me? Mio cried until she was tired and fell asleep.

Until one day, she met her adoptive parents. She didn't hate her parents, but she couldn't bear to be alone in this place. She was scared all night. Her adoptive parents adopted her. They brought her to a house that was not different from a castle in wonderland.

The house was big and had a big yard. She could run all the time, and she could swim too. There was a big pool in the backyard. She was happy that she finally had a family.

Then she saw a young, good-looking boy around the pool. Who was he? Maybe he is my big brother? If they have a son, then why did they adopt me? Their son will hate me, right? He looked so cold from here.

Mio could only stand and didn't move at all.

The young boy realized there was someone else beside him, turned his gaze toward her. He was so handsome and good-looking, and she had never met someone as good-looking as him. That was the time she felt something she never knew.

Later, she knew that she loved her big brother and tried to chase him.

Her big brother was kind at first, but later he changed. He wouldn't ever look at her. He wouldn't ever call her. He wouldn't ever play with her. He wouldn't respond to her when she called him.

Mio wondered where her kind big brother had gone. Even though everyone advised her to give up, she wouldn't listen. She was young and didn't think clearly. She was never tired of chasing him even though he hated her so much. She never knew that this would be her nightmare that would kill her slowly, step by step.

They left Mio to rest and walked out of the room. I am finally alone. Why did this happen to me? Why was I reborn into the same situation as before? I cannot think about this at all. My life is already miserable, but why did it become more miserable?

Did God punish me? But for what reason? Because I was too greedy to chase something I couldn't have? Didn't I have the right to fall in love? Or maybe I didn't have the right to fall in love. What do I have to do now? If I came back to when I was five years old, I would oppose the adoption.

Did I have to go through this nightmare again? I couldn't handle this, and I didn't want this. I didn't want to be sad anymore, and I didn't want my feelings to get trampled on. He didn't have a heart. He didn't care. Why did I come back again? It is a heavy punishment. My heart was bleeding, and it was already broken.

Why did this happen? I have to accept it even though I don't want to. I will stay away from him so that he will never have a chance to hurt me anymore.

"Mio? What do you feel?" he suddenly came and sat down beside Mio's bed.

I turned my back to him and hid my head under the quilt. I was not prepared to meet him. I have to calm down. But he didn't like me, so he won't be here for long.

Even though he asked me, I could still feel his unwillingness to take care of me. Your words and attitude won't hurt me anymore, but my heart skipped a beat and tightened. This feeling—I don't want it anymore.
