Realizing the danger by her side had been dispelled, Lan Cai'er squinted her eyes, resembling a naive and endearing little cat.
"Who are you, why do you look so much like Dao Ge?"
Dao Ge was somewhat distracted, staring at Lan Cai'er, who was reeking of alcohol, evidently having had quite a bit to drink.
Her cheeks were flushed red, and her bright, watery eyes were veiled with mist.
Why had she gotten so drunk? Was it because she was in a bad mood?
Was the reason for her bad mood because of him?
Dao Ge's heart fluttered, and he spoke softly.
"Why did you drink so much? I'll take you back."
"Not only do you look like him, but your voice is so similar too, annoying." Lan Cai'er wrinkled her brow, pouted, and suddenly remembering something, slapped Dao Ge across his handsome face.
With a crisp smack, the sound was loud and the force so impressive that it shocked the waiter in the tavern.
Dao Ge was taken aback. Lan Cai'er's slap was not light at all.
