Me: My baby girl will break down Nick,she may have been forced to the nightmares again but that doesn't mean she's ready . . . Not now!
Nick: I don't know if I'm wrong but i think even the wait and the darkness is breaking her. She's losing it Sally!
I knew he was right but I'm not ready for my baby girl to start hating me. This is too much...
Nick: This is not going to end well sweetheart . . . I'm not normally a superstitious person and I don't even know half the things you know but I know she will know what to do
Me: Oh my poor Dana . . . I was having a stray thought when my phone went blaringly loud. I felt my heart skip a beat and I was suddenly nervous
"Halo" I answered
"Mrs Simons" a firm male voice responded.I guess I was losing balance because Nick was at my side telling me to be steady- " yes,I am Mrs Simons, who's asking"
"Mam please come to the Seer Hospital urgently"
and just like that I exploded in tears. What had happened to my Princess*. We were there in a blink of an eye

I cant say what exactly happened in the library after the gunshots. I must've passed out because I just opened my eyes to this bright room. . . Must be a hospital, yes its definitely a hospital. How did I end up here and why is there no kind of nurse to tell me when I can leave this place.I can't explain my repulsion towards hospitals but I just don't like them especially where everything is pristinely white. I tried to move and suddenly the door bust open. Mom and dad came barreling at my bed. "you okay baby" she wept
Me: I'm okay mom,why?
Daddy: That's all that matters Princess. Can you move??
Okay... They are being creepy as if I was reported dead. And then they shared a mysterious look. I was beginning to get really curious. To top it all, a doctor came in and saw me getting up from the bed and only shock could describe the look on her face. Oh-Kay... "doctor, I know my parents get tongue-tied sometimes when I ask them something they are not ready to tell me so please be the one to tell me what's going on"
The look on mom's face could only be murderous . . . He he he she cant do anything because I just moved near daddy. My super hero, he wouldn't let mommy do anything to me, especially in hospital. And then they laugh. . .mxm. . .
Doctor: I really don't know how to explain this. Okay, someone reported a shooting near the library and when we rushed there, we found you. . . err rather deflated. You were not breathing and you were not responding to anything we tried to resuscitate you with. I guess that explains why your mom and dad were flying to you.
Me: You mean I was almost dead? And how long was I not breathing
Doctor: Six hours now. And like you can guess,its scientifically imposssible because when we tried to attach a breathing mask your body had seizures.
Dana: Oh errr I'm sorry. I was dumbfonded and it might sound clichè but I was sure it had everything to do with the voices in my head. But then,I am not the one who got shot, Derick took most of it... DERICK . . . "Where is Derick" I suddenly blurted out the question.
Doctor: He's with doctor Maisyl . He must be out in a few . . .
The doctor didn't even finish it,Dee walked in looking like an angel. Is the dude weird or what?? Who gets shot and then come to my ward looking like he's just raced his nemesis and came out top. I guess all eyes were on him... That's my Fam for you.

I must admit,the way they are staring at me right now nearly got me shitting my pants. I shouldn't have expected to find her alone. Her mom and dad will never let her be on her own.

Oops,I guess daddy super hero is in the house. I shied away from his words. I couldn't afford to take the slightest slap from this man.

I just laughed. At least we're okay but we still have to pass by the police station. Some people are weird. Who shoots a library and then make a run for it, talk about a real bad luck. At least only my arm got the whiff of a stray bullet, now that's luck. I must have been lost in thought because Dana was waving her beautiful hands in front of my face. " earth to Dee" and then they all busted out laughing. We were set for going and we all instinctively made a protective circle around Dana. Her dad was the one driving with his wife on the next seat in their Mercedes Kompressor. Me and Dana on the back .

Halo,I'm Dana again and like you can guess our drive home was cut short. I started having that strange tingling sensation and screamed as my head felt like it contains a million burning coals... Dad stopped the car and parked near the road but that was too late. A truck,probably drunk with gallons of gasoline, came barreling down on us. Took us from the back and I remember everyone screaming as I flied out the window and it was lights out again
