He found himself surrounded by shadow energy. The whole area, under him and a hundred mile radius around him, turned into a shadow portal.
Even before he could conjure his energy, he already saw a humanoid shadow appeared from the shadow patch.
"When…?" Bewulf opened his eyes in horror.
Sam looked at him coldly.
"Do you know what breeds in the incompetent idiots like you, when they get a bit of strength? Conceit.
You are too arrogant for your own good and you stopped looking for small details. I know exactly how guys like you think and you think I wouldn't prepare for that?
That's what's gonna kill you today."
The humanoid shadow of Bewulf emerged out of the shadow patch and attacked Bewulf. The bitter battle started in just a few seconds.
