"Hey, Claude, have you read today's Wall Street Journal? I love their headline, 'A Decade: The Rise of Adrian Cowell and Claude Ronris's Media Empire.' I hope you don't mind your name being after mine." Standing on the balcony of his Malibu beachfront villa, Adrian watched the distant blue sky and white clouds and the glittering sea waves under the morning sun, excitedly talking to Claude,
although he was only wearing pajamas and it was still cold by the beach in Los Angeles in February, he didn't care about the newspaper in his hand.
"They could have left my name out completely; everyone knows I've already bypassed you," Claude's humorous voice came through the phone, "It's not like you to wake me up over something so trivial, Ed."
