As she thought of him, her steps faltered.
Soon enough, she brushed him out of her mind.
She really disliked having her thoughts so often influenced by him.
She didn't agree to dine with Aiden Lennox, opened the car door, and got in, saying lightly, "I ate too much tonight; having a feast again would be excessive. Save it for next time. Tonight, let's head back."
It was indeed getting late by now.
Aiden Lennox glanced at his watch to check the time and agreed.
"Alright, I'll take you back." He got into the car, turned it around, and drove her towards the palace.
Outside the palace gates, the lights were bright throughout the night.
Despite it being near midnight, the lights outside remained dazzling.
Aiden Lennox accompanied Summer Ford as she got out of the car.
"I'll walk you in!" Aiden suggested, glancing towards the palace.
"No need, I can go in by myself. We're already at the palace gates, and it's just a short distance!" Summer Ford declined gently.
