Aiden Lennox stared at her for a long time without digging further, he simply warned coldly, "It better be like this. If I find out that you are involved or if there's a next time, bear the consequences yourself!"
He turned around and strode out of the courtyard.
Serena Lennox watched his departing figure, so angry that her eyes almost popped out.
"Miss, what happened?" A maid passed by her, inquiring with concern.
Serena, having nowhere to vent her anger, lashed out at her, "It's driving me mad, tell me, why does my brother always defend that woman? What's so good about that girl? And now he's warning his own cousin just for her!"
The maid couldn't comprehend her words at all, her face blank.
Serena felt like she was pouting to herself, let go of her, and walked back and forth in her room, thinking about a solution.
After pacing back and forth in the room, she finally made a call to the waiter who had bumped into someone today.
