Saturday was rare, Ethan Laurent got up a bit later.
Before he went downstairs, the familiar sound of tapping from below had already reached him.
Frowning slightly, he leisurely walked out of the room, step by step towards the spiral staircase.
Just halfway down the stairs, a warm yellow suddenly hit his eyes.
As he glanced sideways, the huge living room's previously stark white walls had been decorated with wallpaper in a subtle shade of yellow.
A very warm yellow, not overly vivid, like the hazy halo of dawn, just looking at it made one's heart feel as if it was bathed in sunlight.
The rest of the living room had also been altered beyond recognition by her, except for the original furniture which remained untouched, everything movable had basically been changed by her. Even a cup placed there by him had been painted with a design he couldn't understand.
Beside it, there was another cup identical to his that had also been adorned with some unclear graffiti-like design.
