John and Nesiara landed on the square when Nesiara asks, "Don't you think that something is wrong here?"
"Now that you say it," says John as he was feeling the same when both looked at each other and ask at the same time, "Where are all the clones that should have been around?"
They finally noticed that not even one of Sephiroth's failed clones was in Nibelheim as they should have been making both look around nervous when John says, "Maybe Sephiroth didn't let them stay in Nibelheim because of us."
"That could be true. We know that they are his failed clones and that we could kill them so he couldn't use them any longer," says Nesiara as John nods in agreement.
"Yes, that would only hit more nails into his coffin," says John as he was still carrying an unconscious man around.
"So you are saying that there would be many Sephiroth clones running around this village normally," says Yui as she was listening to everything.
"Yes, Cloud and the others wouldn't know it since they wouldn't have known that Cloud was an experiment as well as Zack. But we should bring the guy to the Inn and let him rest for now," says John as they walked towards the inn and rented enough rooms for everyone.
"Who will look after that man anyway?" asks Yui as both looked at her making her say, "No, never. He should be buried under a prison after what he did in the basement."
"It was just a kiss and it was an accident. He doesn't even know how to hide his aura like you and your siblings," says John as he was the expert in Demonic Aura for now.
"Fine, but can I kill him if he tries something funny?" asks Yui wanting to kill the man as both parents sigh from hearing her.
"No just knock him out if he tries something funny," says Nesiara knowing that Yui could do that without a problem.
"You really are taking all the fun out of it," says Yui disappointed that she couldn't kill the man.
John closed his eyes and tried to feel how many people were in Nibelheim as he only felt the Shinra Agents in it making it clear that no clone was in Nibelheim.
They leave the inn to look for the others while Yui had to look after the man she knocked out before as she took a better look at the man and says, "He really has a nice face. Too bad he is on my blacklist because of what he did in the Mansion."
The man began to hold his head while waking up when Yui says, "It seems you are finally awake."
"Where am I? And who are you?" asks the man as he wanted to draw his gun only to find air.
"Are you looking for this one?" asks Yui as she was holding the man's gun while the man was staring at her angry.
"Don't look at me like that. It's you who did something illegal, not I," says Yui as she dropped the gun on the table showing that she didn't want to do something to him.
"How about this we exchange answers so we both get something out of it," says Yui as she began by saying, "I am Yui Crownguard and you are?"
"Vincent Valentine," says Vincent indifferent as it was his turn asking now, "Where are we?"
"We are still in Nibelheim. We are in the inn since we couldn't leave you," says Yui as it was her turn now.
"How did you become a Demon?" asks Yui as it seemed a sensitive topic to talk about by seeing Vincent's face when she says, "It seems a difficult question to answer for you. How about another question then. Why were you in the coffin? You mentioned something about a nightmare."
"I was sleeping to punish myself for the death of a dear person because of me. She died after giving birth to her son because of the illness she got from me," says Vincent as he was feeling guilty again for what happened in the past.
"Why do you know that I am a Monster?" asks Vincent as Yui smiled at him before turning into her DT showing her Demon side to Vincent who was surprised to see someone else that could turn into a Monster.
"We aren't the only ones. My father, as well as my siblings, can turn into this as well while my father can take also a more pure form," says Yui as they begin to talk about it when she turned back and she asks, "What was the name of that friend?"
"Lucrecia Crescent, she was a good person that saved me even if she made me into what I am right now," says Vincent as he sees Yui's expression that changed into another expression when John and Nesiara entered the room.
"It seems he is awake," says Nesiara as she looked at Vincent.
"What happened?" asks John as he sees Yui's face.
"He is a friend of that witch who allowed that monster to experiment on her unborn son," says Yui as she was quite angry.
She was slowly believing that if Sephiroth wouldn't have been put under those experiments when he was young he wouldn't have become a villain.
She leaves as Vincent looks at her back before the door blocks the view and Vincent asks, "What did she mean?"
"With Witch she means Lucrecia and Monster Hojo. They did something really terrible to their son shaping him to become a monster far worse than Hojo," says John as he sits down on the chair Yui was using.
"My name is John and this is Nesiara. We are the parents of Yui," says John as Vincent presented himself to them.
"Why was she so angry?" asks Vincent as John and Nesiara smile.
"How long were you asleep that you don't know that Sephiroth burned Nibelheim down to the ground in his madness after finding out that he was a lab rat of Shinra and Hojo," says Nesiara angry since he was living in Nibelheim after all.
"Wait, Nibelheim was destroyed but it looks still the same," says Vincent as he looked out of the window seeing the old Nibelheim he knew before he went to sleep.
"Let me show you from the memories I got from one of our companions," says John as he put his hand on Vincent's head showing him Nibelheim in flames with Sephiroth in the middle of it.
"Is that?" asks Vincent as John nods.
"Yes, that is Sephiroth. He became unstable after finding out who or better said what he was," says John as Vincent looked angry at what was going on.
"Hojo made Lucrecia suffer from his experiments on the unborn Sephiroth as she was seeing visions of what her son would be doing in the future because of the Jenova cells implanted on Sephiroth," says John as Vincent turned to him.
"I didn't make her ill?" asks Vincent seriously as John shakes his head.
"You did but not because of the experiments were done on you but because of the guilt, she is carrying since your father died. Even if you loved her and she loved you but the guilt of your father's death wouldn't allow her to be happy with you," says John as Vincent sees how Cloud and Sephiroth fought against each other in the Mako Reactor.
"She isn't dead, is she?" asks Vincent as he had a bad feeling about that.
"She isn't, but she won't want to see you. She imprisoned herself in a naturally formed Materia. She won't be able to ever walk the planet again and I think she doesn't want to since she tried to kill herself many times but because of the Jenova cells it wasn't possible," says John as Vincent looked at him suspiciously.
"How do you know that?" asks Vincent as he wanted to grab his gun that wasn't there from the beginning.
"My family isn't from this World. We are World Travelers if we say it simply. My children might not know much about this world but I and my wife do," says John as he snapped and both woke up again being back in their bodies.
"You should let the woman in peace she gave your back your life even if she stopped before completing everything," says John as Vincent looked at the couple angry.
"You might be right but I still need answers and she is the only one that can give them to me," says Vincent telling himself that to have a reason to meet her again.
"Be my guest then. We will go and meet her then," says Nesiara now as Vincent opened his eyes wide.
"And what are we going to do there?" asks Vincent as John and Nesiara looked sad making Vincent understand that they will fulfill her wish of dying.
"You can't," says Vincent as John looks at him seriously.
"Sometimes death is a blessing instead of a curse the same goes for life," says Nesiara as she wasn't happy about what they would be doing to Lucrecia but she could finally find peace.
"You should find some last words for her after reading this," says John handing Vincent Lucrecia's data about him and Chaos. And another book that seemed like a diary of hers.
"Take your time for it since we will be staying for two days in Nibelheim. We will also present you to the others later at dinner," says Nesiara as they leave the room so he could be alone for a while and digest all the information.
"I should look after Yui she might not feel alright. She was having a good time with Vincent until he mentioned Lucrecia," says Nesiara as she wanted to have a girl talk with her daughter when John nods feeling that he would be just a border there.
They split up as John a map in his hand he knew that they passed the cave on purpose even when Yuffie found it he wanted to skip it until they had Vincent in the group so they didn't need to return.
He went down as most of the group was downstairs eating dinner as he sits beside them. They eat together when John informed them about their new companion.
