The others laughed and said, "Gao Jinglin, are you even a man? Why are you so cowardly?"
"Exactly, just a little girl and you chicken out like that?"
Someone slammed the table, "He's pampering his wife, don't you get it? No wonder you're all bachelors destined to be single forever."
"I'm still young."
"I think it's your buddy that's still young, haha..."
Everyone burst into laughter and started jeering wildly. It seemed that they were accustomed to it since childhood, so no one actually got angry. They all ganged up to drag down the guy who just spoke, pinning him under the table and giving him a good beating.
"Help! Help!" In the end, the beaten man crawled out from the other side of the table, looking bruised yet still wearing a sleazy smile. He crawled to Gao Jinglin, snatched the enamel mug from his hand, and chugged down the wine in one breath.
Gao Jinglin yelled angrily, "Tian Bantong, are you asking for it? Why'd you steal my drink?"
