The moment Akito used one of his dangerous skills, chills run down Gus neck, as his beastlike senses suddenly felt the atmosphere changed around Akito. An atmosphere full of danger. Due to that he quickly entered in a battle ready stance as his eyes became fully locked on Akito.
At this point on Gus disregarded the presence of other people around him, by doing this, he somehow could hold his own against Akito without losing any limb at all.
Without waiting for Akito at all, Gus begun using his all, as he confronted Akito.
"Berserker's rage"
Powering himself up in order to suppress the dangerous feeling he felt, Gus then jumped towards Akito as he used another skill afterwards.
"Red Impact + Cleave"
Combining two attacks into one, coupled with the bonus buff from Berserker's rage, Gus then left no room for Akito to exploit his attacks weakness in order to counter agaisnt him. However instead of doing some of his flashy move, Akito simply raised his sword upwards and slashed it down towards him.
"1st sword"
Sensing danger from Akito's attack, Gus then hurriedly blocked the attack, only to find himself pinned down with craters forming beneath his feet. What's more his nose started to bleed as the collision from that attack greatly damaged his insides.
Of course in this sense, Gus was struggling as he felt like he was lifting a whole mountain with both of his battle axe. Unfortunately Akito's attack didn't end there as he only dropped one sword from his sword technique.
Just like what the name implies the 23 sword of destruction isn't just a simple attack. Each sword from this technique is powerful enough to wipe out a whole mountain and each strike just goes stronger. Now that there are 22 more of this sword caliber, Gus then had no choice but to face the technique if he ever wanted to reach Akito's level
"2nd sword"
While pinned down, Akito used this chance to land another blow, only to be blocked by Gus weapon. However this time he was sent flying, as he crashed unto the rock before stumbling down.
After that Gus tried to get back into the battle, only for Akito to kick his head back before delivering another blow.
"3rd sword"
Once more Gus was blasted back with an injury on his left arm. This time he tried to charge back in, fight with all he can, only to be stomps down when Akito used another technique from the 23 swords of destruction.
This pattern continued on for quite awhile, until Gus lasted till the 22nd attack coming from Akito. With the last attack on hold, Akito swung down his sword only for Gus right axe immediately break into pieces, which resulted to injuring his arm and the sword directly plunging down his neck.
"23rd sword"
This attack should've cutted Gus into two, however for some unknown reasons his sword simply stopped at the first layer of muscles of Gus, as red aura enveloped his whole body. Unknown to Akito Gus did something that prevented his sword from piercing through Gus body.
"Undying"
This skill undying prevented Gus from falling down from his enemy's attack and even prevented him from dying. With such skill, it somehow tanked a powerful blow from Akito whole giving him a chance to fight back.
With a smile, Gus grabbed the blade of Akito's sword with his free hand, and swung his axe with another. With that a huge explosion erupted from the collision of two powers, as Akito safely got away with some trade off.
During that time of the explosion, Akito raised his aura to the highest he could possibly could to clash with Gus attack which caused the explosion. After that with all he got, Akito forcefully pulled out the sword from Gus hand with letting the axe descending on him to plunged unto his shoulder.
Due to that even though he manage to get out of Gus hold, his right shoulder was literally damaged, as it goes limp from the injury. Of course Gus didn't get out of that unscathed too.
Since Akito forcefully pulled out the sword, his hand now haw a huge cut on them due to the result of him trying tk tighten his grip on the blade.
Nevertheless both of them ended in such state due to their stubbornness. Unfortunately unlike Gus, Akito had prepared for such contingencies as he pulled out a red bottle from inside his clothes and as he poured 70% on top of his head and 30% on his shoulder.
Apparently such bottle was a health bottle that Akito got from Shun after both their Academy had joined forces against the invading academy. Alongside it Akito pulled out a blue bottle from inside his clothes and drank it with all his might. Just like that not only does the red potion healed all of Akito's wounds, the blue potion actually replenished his stamina.
Just like that he was in a perfect state before the battle, while Gus was completely exhausted.
Upon seeing Akito's recovery, the other students spectating the battle, couldn't watch any longer as the tip of the battle had heavily sided to Akito. With such recovery it wouldn't be a matter of time before Gus is taken out if they don't do anything at all.
With that they all begun to move.
Naturally Gus saw this and manage to read through his allies intentions. The moment he understood what they were about to do, he then flew into rage as he tried to get everyone off from his battle.
"What the hell are you guys doing? Do not try to get into my fight, this is my fight, none of you are allowed to intervene"
"Unfortunately we can't allow that Gus, the enemy is strong and he had already proven himself by pushing you this far, however he still got a few tricks up his sleeves that can tip the battle in his favor... we had greatly underestimated him" said by Allen
"I don't care! Get out of my battle" argued by Gus
"Too late"
In that ment Akitl was surrounded on all sides, leaving him with no opening to escape.
