Just by their statement alone, it was clear that he was being underestimated. In fact it wasn't him alone, even Shun and Lorius was being underestimated.
Akito may not know who this group of people are, but he do know one thing from the experience he had gone through with the two aforementioned people. Both of them were strong enough to flip a country down under. When both of them gets serious, almost nothing can stand their way.
Yet despite such fact this guy's heavily underestimated all three of them and thinking that they were nothing. Of course Akito has no strength to argue against people who overestimate themselves. In this situation, what's important than the mouth, is the skills itself.
In that moment both Gus and Akito simultaneously charged at each other, as they swung their weapon against one another. Looking closely at it now, Gus was using a type of two Crescent battle axe, one on his left and another on his right.
Not only such axe provide larger blade area, his hands are even protected by the blade since its handle is just behind the blade itself. However in terms of reach, his katana has longer range than Gus Right Crescent battle axe.
The moment both of the blades met, sparks light up, as their weapon grinded against each other, before passing one another. After that both of them simultaneously turned around as Akito swung up, while Gus swung down.
Once more both their weapon grinded against each other as they entered a new position and threw in another attack. However this time before Gus could swing his Right Crescent battle axe, Akito had already swung down his sword and pinned down his right Crescent battle axe.
After pinning Gus down, Akito quickly flipped his hold unto his sword, as he swung for its neck, only for Gus to quickly bend his back backwards and immediately swung his left Crescent battle axe towards Akito.
Unfortunately such maneuver was easily blocked by Akito, ashe pushed Gus attack away and used one of his skill.

However despite Akito's quick maneuver, Gus was still able to block that attack, as he was thrown back, only for him to charged towards him once more the moment he landed on the ground. This time it was Gus turn to go other offensive.
"Cleave"
Swing down his right Crescent battle axe, Akito was forced to block the attack as he got blown away from the force of the attack, before he quickly flipped his body midair and do a forced landing.
But before he could even charge back in, Gus had already leaped towards him with both battle axe swinging down at him.
"Red Impact"

The moment both attacks clashed against each other, a huge shockwave erupted causing the surrounding wind to be blown away, causing a massive down draft that almost made it impossible for anyone to get close with.
However the one's enjoying such fight was none other than the other prodigies from the three academys.
"He is good! I got to admit, he manage to stay this long against Gus... I'm impressed looks pike he's not all talk" said by Allen
"But if this is all he could do, then he won't be able to defeat him" said by Irene
"I knew it, they exaggerated the rumors about this guy, I bet it was also exaggerated for the other two" said by Sinnoh

"That guy... he's dangerous" Exclaimed by Seol
Hearing Seol's words everyone somehow showed a knowing smile as they all puffed out airs.
"I know! Gus is that dangerous when he finds a worthy opponent, the moment he sets his eyes on you, you gotta pray that he won't kill you in his maddened state... he is a battle junkie of his own" said by Allen
"He is right! As much as I hate to admit it, I don't want to fight Gus at all" said by Rex
Unknown to everyone aside from Seol, she was not referring tk Gus when she said that he is dangerous, but rather Akito who seemed to be in the zone himself. Both him and Gus had only e changed few moves, but Akito manage to defeat Gus multiple times in their exchange, Gus was only lucky enough to survive all encounter.
In this very moment both Gus and Akito are exchanging their 30th blow, as bothof them aimed to kill one another. As for Gus since he is a battle crazy idiot, he didn't even realize that he was slowly being backed into the corner as Akito's attack was relentless.
"Auror Slash"

The moment both attacks clashed against another, smoke erupted between them as Akito's sword wave is as cold and sharp as water while Gus slash is as hot as flames.
However despite the mist, Akito easily located Gus in the mist as he swung his sword at him beyond the mist, catching him off guard and finally dealing the first blow on his cheek. Better yet a small slashon his cheek.
The moment his cheek begun to bleed, Gus smiled crazily as someone was finally able to push him this far to the point that he have to bleed. With a laughter he charged at him with both his axe.
However Akito simply saw this as a nonsensical move since Gus composure had finally break making his movement irrational but beast like. As a swordman himself who saw some thing, beast like human is nothing against him.
With that Akito landed a few strikes all over Gus body, before the latter quickly changed his approach and used another skill that temporarily stunned him in place.
"Lion Roar"
The moment Gus roared out loud, the shockwave from the vibration, caused Akito's muscles to stiffen, making it hard for him to even move. But during this time Gus already gathered his mana unto the sole of his feet, as he stomped at the ground.
"Red Impact (stomp)"
The moment he did that a riptide suddenly erupted from the ground below that even blow Akito off the ground, giving ample time for Gus to charge towards him and swung his blade at him.
"Cleave"
After another powerful explosion and impact erupted, Akito was thrown back as he crashed through multiple rocks, before finally anchoring himself to the ground by stabbing his sword unto the rocks.
With Gus in his beast like state, Akito then upped his game, as he wanted to take Gus down before he could even grow stronger as the fight goes on.
Jumping back unto the fray, Gus welcomed him by throwing an axe at him, only for Akito to parry the axeto the side. However by doing this, he suddenly lost momentum as he landed on the side, giving opportunity for Gus to jump at him with a smile.
"Lion's ro-"
Before Gus could even use his skill, Akito suddenly kicked his chin upward, causing his mouth to be forcefully closed, as Akito sent him flying with his own skill.

But despite all of that Gus simply laughed crazily, giving Akito an irk, as he prepared himself to use another skill to end this fight.
