There's no one else in the ward; Butler Santana wasn't sure if he came alone.
It seemed like he did.
They hadn't seen each other much over the past half year, and now looking closely, he appeared quite haggard. It's uncertain whether work was too exhausting, but as the Janus Family is a top-tier household, he shouldn't be neglecting himself.
He gave Butler Santana a steadfast glance and nodded: "It's me."
"You're... in Cakago?" Butler Santana asked curiously.
"I came over from Old York."
"Ah," Butler Santana was surprised, "Did you... come to see Little Clementine?"
"No, I happened to be in town for business today, needed to sign a contract, and stopped by the hospital on the way."
"Oh." There was a hint of disappointment in Butler Santana's eyes, but she quickly added, "Please have a seat, thank you for finding such a good hospital and doctor for Little Clementine. The hospital is great, and the doctor is very responsible, thank you. I'll make you a cup of tea."
