Jasmine Yale rubbed her little head: "Sister's not playing, sister's going to sit and rest for a while."
The little girl snuggled up to Jasmine Yale, instinctively leaned her little head against Jasmine Yale's belly, tilted her ear, and listened intently to the sounds from her stomach.
"Why isn't the little baby moving?"
Jasmine Yale smiled: "The little baby is asleep."
"Do little babies sleep during the day too?" The little girl rested her head on Jasmine Yale's leg and asked seriously.
"Yes, because he's a little child, so when he's sleepy, he sleeps."
Sylvan Cheney, for some inexplicable reason, reached out and grabbed the little girl by her collar and tossed her aside: "Stay away!"
The little girl glared with wide eyes, angrily looking at Sylvan Cheney: "Uncle, you're so mean! Uncle is a bad person!"
Jasmine Yale really didn't know if Sylvan Cheney was out of his mind.
