"Jasmine Yale, are you just pretending to be dumb or are you really clueless?" Sylvan Cheney's emotions were slightly out of control. He stepped forward, pressing Jasmine Yale's shoulders with both hands. "Just because I gave Yukon Carbon a beating, you react this way? How much does he really mean to you?"
"I told you, stop bringing up Yukon!" Jasmine Yale snapped, glaring at him.
"Fine, fine, I get it. I mean nothing to you!" Sylvan Cheney said angrily. "I'm just a tool for you to use. You don't really like me. You're just into my abilities and money to find a backing for the child in your belly, right?"
"Is that how you see me? Am I just a materialistic woman in your eyes?" Jasmine Yale looked at him. "All the time we spent together, is that the attitude you've had towards me? Besides, what abilities do you have? The ability to cling to women?"
