Jasmine Yale picked out good ingredients and taught Lilac Serval hands-on.
"Do men generally lack interest in desserts?" Lilac Serval asked.
"Depends on who makes them." Jasmine Yale smiled, "Mr. Cheney doesn't like sweets either, but he'll eat them if I made them."
Although Lilac Serval didn't quite understand, she smiled anyway.
She followed Jasmine Yale in making pastries, simply creating egg tarts and yolk pastries.
"Little Lilac, are you taking these to the Cheney Group?"
"Yes."
"Then take a portion for Mr. Cheney from me too. He said he won't be coming home for lunch today." Jasmine Yale said, "I'm not good at cooking, so I can only make some desserts, and this is all I can do."
"With your skills this good, Mr. Cheney must love it."
"Who cares if he likes it or not, he has to eat it if I made it."
Lilac Serval laughed. She knew that Jasmine Yale was very fond of Sylvan Cheney.
