"Luke!", Charmaine called as she saw the boy playing in the livingroom when she entered the door. The little one looked up from the tiles she was arranging and a sweet smile blossomed on his face upon seeing his mother and father walk through the entrance.
"Mommy!" he exclaimed before running towards the woman for a hug. "Did you come to pick me up?" he asked.
Charmaine nodded and led the boy back to the couch. Leo on the other hand went to look for his in-laws to say hi. The initial plan was to pick up Luke in the morning but Charmaine needed more time to rest and now it's already past lunchtime.
"Luke, what are you playing?" Charmaine asked when she saw the board on the coffee table. On it were tiles arranged into words.
"I'm learning how to spell, Mom!" the boy answered proudly.
