The old thief suddenly stop as it heard a loud cries of monsters outside the walls of the city.
Being an old veteran adventure and also a thief it sense danger that is capable of destroying the city.
The Holy Knights who was chasing him also stop as they look towards the saintess and ask if they should continue searching.
"Your Holiness it seems that the monsters already arrive at the castle walls!"
"Should we stop chasing that old thief and join the adventurers and guards to protect the city?"
"NONSENSE! The curse coin is more important! Even if you help as long as the coin continue to spread it's darkness more stronger monster well appear!"
The saintess shouted as the Holy Knight continue to run towards the old thief's direction.
The old thief was confuse why did this group of people always manage to find his location.
Despite him being familiar with the twist and turns of the slum he can still feel that the can easily find it's position.
Their was a hidden underground passage beneath the city.
Illegal traders, Wanted Criminals, and other evil people who wish to escape the law often use this passage.
It was an ancient maze that has long forgotten.
The only thing they knew is such underground passage already exist before the city was built.
The old thief finally arrive at the entrance of the underground passage.
The people guarding the entrance was already familiar of the old thief as it was one of the few criminals who hides inside the city.
"Kevin hurry someone is chasing me and trying to kill me!"
"The hell old man what trouble did you bring here!"
Before Kevin stop the old man from entering a huge earthquake occured.
As the City Wall was destroyed by the waves of monster entering.
Strange enough the direction this monster are going seems near to the entrance of the underground passage.
"Where did this monster came from!"
The guard Kevin panic and run deeper on the the underground passage.
Meanwhile one of the holy knight manage to wound the old thief.
Despite the monsters coming towards them they are true to their vows and only focus on the saintess order.
The saintess already retreat to a safer place as she watch a group of monsters almost arriving at where the curse coins was.
The old thief was stunned as he saw a huge wave of monsters.
He was unlucky enough for his feet has been injured by one of the Holy Knight.
It was to late for him to escape as one of the monsters who look like a giant lizard jump at his direction and instantly swallowed him whole.
After that the monster lizard suddenly shivered as it shakes its head.
Soon another two heads appeared from it's neck and it became a Three Headed Monster.
But it didn't end their as the lizard monsters started to grew in size.
When the other monster arrive they saw a huge three headed lizard that emits a very dangerous aura.
Still it did not stop the other monsters from attack it as some monster are already moving by instinct.
They disregard the dangerous aura and instead became more aggressive as they slam their huge body and attack the three headed lizard.
The monsters started to fight and kill each other as different monsters wanted to bite the three headed lizard.
But the Three headed lizard fought back and it's power also increase as time pass by.
The lesser monsters remains has been scattered all over the place as the body of the dead monsters started to increase.
The people watching it made a loud cheer.
They had no idea why the monster had killed each other but it doesn't matter as it only made the city survive such huge monster tide.
The saintess watch from a far as monsters devour each other in frenzy.
She felt that something was not right as the darkness that the coin emits did not disappear not only that she feel that such darkness was growing every time the three headed lizard eat another monster.
The rest of the monsters continue their rampage as they mindlessly slam their body.
It was a suicidal attempt from the monsters as the Three Headed Lizard strength increase they only became food for it to feed.
As the number of monster started to decreased the Three Headed Lizards body already grew so big that it can even fight an ancient dragon Krad size.
The people watching finally notice how terrorizing the monster was after the last of the monster was devoured by it.
Now that all the monster was eaten it moves it's head as it wanted to find another source of food.
For some odd reason the Three Headed Lizard was very hungry.
So Hungry to the point that it can only think of food.
When it finally attack the nearest human it was already to late for them to escape.
What they thought was a blessing turns out to be a curse as they did not expect that the lizard will attack them.
"It's already to late!"
"Your Holiness what do you mean?"
"The coin's darkness already settle down at that monsters and it well grow stronger as time pass by"
"Can we not defeat it?"
"It's possible but all of you will die!"
"For the Holy Saintess our lives we gladly sacrifice!"
The Saintess helpless sigh as she had no idea how to overcome the situation without sacrificing her Holy Knights!.
But a sudden loud angry voice appeared out of nowhere.
"HOW DARE YOU! RETURN TO ME MY PRECIOUS!"
It was the Ancient Dragon Krad.
Krad was already far from the city when it suddenly felt a familiar aura.
It was surprise that it was the Treasure that it was looking for.
While the presence was thin but if it manage to trace the direction where it came from.
"Bastard humans they manage to trick me!"
It use a forbidden spell to farther increase it speed as it was so fast it instantly appear above the city.
But when it arrive it saw a huge three headed lizard and the Treasures Aura can be traced somewhere on it's stomach.
The Ancient Dragon Krad was so mad that it charge directly to the monsters who seem to devour it's treasure.
But the The Three Headed Lizard does not fear Krad.
As if it already losses it's mind from hunger it also charge towards Krad directions.
Soon an Epic Fight among two huge monster started.
The casualty increase as the wave that came from the two was enough to instantly kill a normal human.
"At least we no longer need to fight and sacrifice ourselves. Holy Knights hear me protect the civilians and escort them to a safer place far from the city!"
The Holy knights heard the shout of the Saintess as they rescued fallen and injured humans as they started to escape outside the castle.

Meanwhile a coin was having a bad time of his coin life.
Saferu was very annoyed as it was swallowed by a monster.
Although it receive a huge amount of Spirit Xp and Spirit coins but the digestive fluid started to irritate him.
As flesh of different monsters and humans started to mix in the Three Headed Lizards body the small coins was at the center of it.
As the Blood ooze at it's flawless coin body.
It felt dirty although as a Coin it should had no feelings yet as a former human the site of dead bodies of other people greatly bothered Saferu's spirit.
"System Do you have a bomb to blast this dmn stomach to pieces!"

Hearing that it was possible to buy a bomb made Saferu mood improve a little bit but knowing that he can't use it yet made him a little bit annoyed.

"What a bad day !" The coin can't help but surrender to it's cruel fate as it accepted the fact that it is inside a monsters body a long with other dead parts of monsters and humans being digested.
