It was like hitting a tough diamond, the shockwave from the attack reverberated throughout Kentaro's body, causing his muscles to stiffen to the point being stunned in place for a few seconds. Naturally Diez expected such reaction as he quickly pulled his sycthe and swung it towards Kentaro.
However before Kentaro could get hit by Diez sycthe, Victor then pulled Kentaro using his gravitational ability, while throwing two cemented pillars at him.
The moment Diez was pulled to safety, he then immediately pulled himself back together as he witnessed Diez tear the cemented pillars apart with his sycthe. After that he then charged towards Kentaro, trying to catch up to him, only for him to get chained down by metal chains due to Victor's ability, before he got drowned by the white flames that Kentaro's ability attack.
However despite their effort, Diez simply walked out of the flames as his dealer pulled out another card which caused his injuries to heal.

"That gravity ability is getting pretty annoying" uttered by Diez
"Oh please your ability is much more annoying" said by Kentaro
Hearing Kentaro's remark, Diez was shocked for a bit as he realized that Kentaro had caught on to his ability's mechanic despite exchanging attacks for a few minutes. His battle IQ was pretty amazing to the point that he easily saw through him.
In fact even Uno took quite awhile to figure out how his ability works, but for Kentaro to figure out his own ability in just few minutes, that just prove just how much of a danger he is. If he is given time to grow, he would be unstoppable.
This was quite shocking for Diez, after receiving the report from Nueve about this city's powerhouses, he also saw a person take out a lot of galapagus and prove a problem for Ocho. Alongside it there was also a human who took down most of the skywhales and a human who can actually fight three sentinels all on its own.
This city was like a gathering den of monsters, there was no shortage of talented fighters at all. In this moment he was facing a smart talented fighter. Besides him another one has an annoying ability that almost renders him unable to get close.
"So you've figured out the mechanics of my ability"
"Pretty much, your ability is like a deck of cards... hearts means heal, spade is destructiveness, club is power, diamond is durability... as for the numbers I guess they are the frequency on just how strong can that ability be projected" said by Kentaro

"Yes! I did also realize that, after all you pulled diamond twice but despite having the same shape, the durability differs by the number its shown... but if my theory is proven true then I guess you also have the jack, Queen, and king per the deck of cards... but what they can do is still a mystery" said by Kentaro
"Wow! You figured that out much... but your forgot one thing, the way my cards are pick isnt through the process of elimination, but rather like a roullete" praised by Diez
"I see... then that means you can pull the same card with the same number multiple times in a row... am i right?"
When Diez heard Kentaro's answer, he simply smiled as he couldn't believe just how smart Kentaro was. However there was one secret that Kentaro haven't figured out yet, and that secret will be the trump card that will bring both of them to the death.
In that moment the dealer pulled out another card and revealed it to everyone.

After pulling this card, Diez then charged towards Kentaro, as the latter rushed towards him while Victor threw rocks at Diez to obstruct his momentum.
Unfortunately Diez was nimble enough to dodge all the rocks thrown at him while also cutting down some rocks that somehow slipped through his guard.
In that moment Kentaro quickly entered his gap as he thrust his sword at him, forcing Diez to tilt his head to the side to dodge his attack instead of talking it head on.
However Kentaro quickly shifted his hold on his own sword as he swung it down, only to kiss once more when Diez skillfully duck to avoid the slash. Unfortunately Kentaro wants planning to give up, as he quickly did a backhand slash followed by star slash towards Diez.
Surprisingly Diez manage to block all these attacks with ease, which gave him a chance to counter back by spinning around Kentaro and attacking him from behind.
But before his sycthe could hit him, Victor used his ability to push Kentaro away, as he quickly provide cover by throwing in three boulders towards him.

Of course Diez was planning to tank the attack, however his dealer pulled another bad draw, causing him to be pummeled down so hard that he started bleeding.
Immediately Diez tried to get away from Victor only to notice a huge shadow covering the whole area, as Victor used his gravity to pull a building nearby in half and had the other half crash on top of Diez
Even though this attack could be fatal, Kentaro has no intention of letting his guard down as he quickly entered the crumbling building in order to confirm whether Diez was done in by Victor's attack.
Buy as Kentaro was searching for him, the walls beside him suddenly burst out into smithereens, as Diez grabbed Kentaro by the throat and slashed his sycthe at him in point blank range. Of course Kentaro was able to block that attack, but due to the fact that Diez attacked in point blank range, Kentaro was actually blown out of the building and crashed at the convenience store right outside the medical city.
Noticing this, Victor begun compressing the building into a ball, with an intent to crush Diez inside. But in an unexpected circumstances, Diez dealer pulled up a card that literally broke him free from Victor's hold.

In just multiple slashes, the pieces of the building was blasted all over the place, causing havoc to the surroundings and even begun forming a new land formation. Naturally this also obstructed Victor's line of sight, but this was the exact chance that Diez was looking for in order to get close to Victor.
While Victor was distracted by the flying debris, he then sneakily appeared behind a few blocks behind him, as he blitz through the field and swung his sycthe towards Victor. However Victor was also a veteran of the battlefield and a lot of people had already done this tactic to him before.
So expecting that attack to come to him, Victor then begun using his ability to push everything away, causing Diez to be forcefully blown back and crash through multiple building's, which broke multiple of his bones.
As if that wasn't enough, Victor begun using his ability to gravitize the rocks to form into a spear which is sharp enough to impale Diez, without hesitation, he threw the spear towards Diez, only for the latter to see the attack coming from afar and destroyed it with a single swing.
But Victor's assault didn't end there. The moment Diez destroyed the spear into chunks of rocks, Victor then begun to wield those chucks of rocks using his gravity and slammed a multiple of them towards Diez and force him tk crash downtown the ground from a 30 feet high altitude.
Like that Victor dominated the field with his perfect control of gravity.
