[Grandora City, Medical City Area]
Amidst the flames and destruction, Kentaro knew that such attacks wouldn't be enough to defeat the enemy before him. After all this was the very same enemy that had taken down nations, something that even the entirety of the R.E.A.P.E.R.S had a hard time on accomplishing.
With that he stood up and walked towards Richard and the rest of the surviving hospital residents.
"Thank you..." said by Richard
"Keep your thanks to yourself, the fight isn't over yet, you need to get away.... that guy isn't dead yet"
"What!?!?!"
Hearing Kentaro's words, Richard was in shock as he couldn't believe that Diez would survive such a destructive blast. But if Kentaro himself had said it, then it must be true. After all only the strong could feel if the fight was over or not.
But there was one thing he doesn't understand why would they fight for them. They branded them as terrorist, fought against them, almost wiped them off from the face of the earth, so why were such people willingly protect their home.
"But before that... why are you doing this?"
As if realizing what he meant, Kentaro pushed Richard aside and said.
"This is not my decision, the leader wanted to protect this city for reason's unknown... so all I have to do is to follow as his sword"
Even after hearing that, Richard was still not satisfied by the answer as he tried to further ask more questions, but before he could even utter a single word, a powerful force suddenly lifted him and the residents off the ground and were pulled away from the site and towards a nearby shelter.
Seeing this phenomenon happen, Kentaro then sensed Victor nearby, as he turned to his location to ascertain his position.
"Victor..."
"August sent me here... he figured that you needed my help" said by Victor after he saw the expression from Kentaro's face.
"I don't need your help, I can handle the enemy all on my own"
"No you can't... August wouldn't have ordered me to assist you if he thought that you could win"
"I could! I'm not like the rest of the agents out there... all bark and no bite"
"Thats the problem, we'll known agents out there are falling one after the other, agents that are considered to be your equal... in fact I heard that the veteran agent Greg was also killed after fighting off three sentinels all on his own"
"....."
"You know his situation, even though his chaos ability isn't that destructive nor dangerous, he had actually improved it to the point that his ability is one of the powerful ability out there, especially on how he utilized his flames and personal weapon... I also remembered that you encountered him back then... if it wasn't for the situation back then, he might've posed a threat... such a person has died"
"... then that's his limit, in this time anyone who can't overcome their limit would die at the hands of the enemy... that's just how the world works"
After hearing that Victor couldn't help but shake his head in dismay as he couldn't even convince Kentaro to work together. If he wanted to accomplish August's orders then he needed to find another way to convince Kentar to work with him.
But in that very moment a clap could be heard on the side, as both of them noticed Diez sitting on a chair calmly while clapping after witnessing their exchange.
"What a drama... so what happened next? Who's Greg? Who killed him? Come on continue! I'm dying of anticipation here"
Upon seeing that both Victor and Kentaro simply looked at him in shock, Diez smile slowly faded as he stood up and said.
"Well since you have no plans on continuing your conversation, then I'll proceed on what I was supposed to do... by the way your attack was phenomenal so as a reward I'll show you my ability, an ability that I've honed for quite a long time, mastered in years and perfected through time"
After he said that a small moving doll appeared behind Kentaro, causing him to be shocked in surprise, as he swung his sword towards the dull, only to realize that the doll itself was invulnerable to any attack.
His sword itself simply passed through the dolls body as if it wasn't there at all.
This really shocked Kentaro himself, after all Diez appeared before him all patched up and energized, it was as if they had never fought at all. There was literally no scratch on his body.
As if that wasn't wierd enough, a doll on a suit popped out behind him which was also invulnerable to any attack. Diez proclaimed that this was his ability, but no matter how much Kentaro think about it, he can't figure out what type of ability this is.
This was the very first time Kentaro encountered such strange ability.
In that moment Diez smiled widely as he said.
"This doll is part of my ability, my ability name is dealer... that's right, just like what it's name implies, my ability deals with cards... as for how the mechanism works, I'll leave that up to your imagination"
After he said that the doll beside Diez suddenly shuffled its deck off cards before it pulled out a card which determines Diez next move.

Hearing that Diez then smiled as he dashed towards Kentaro and swung his sycthe at him. In response to this, Kentaro blocked the attack with his sword only to realize that something was amiss.
Before he could point it out, he was pushed back a couple of steps with both of his hands going numb.
At the same time Victor launched two huge Boulder towards Diez, only for his dealer to pull out another card.

Smiling like a lunatic, Diez swung his sycthe towards the boulders and instantly destroyed the both of them which left a shockwave that overwhelmed Victor.
Not letting go of the moment Diez leaped towards him, only for Kentaro to quickly recover and intercepted his attack.
"Be careful! Something inst right, he wasn't this strong a few moments ago" warned by Kentaro
"Tsk!" Cursed by Victor
"Do you know why that is my dear samurai? It's because I evolved!!!" Replied by Diez after seeing that Kentaro was trying to figure out his ability"
However instead of blocking his attacks, Kentaro actually dodged all of them whole countering back with a decisive slash. But before his sword could hit the target, the dealer pulled out another card and revealed it for everyone to see.
