It's been 6 years since I got this system, in that time I caught a Conoh Poliwag and both Aurum and Radish leveled up to level 15 and 13 respectively. In trainer school we learned about PokeCores and what they are. They are from a time when both human and pokemon where nearly inseparable, they became the way in which we're able to withstand pokemon attacks to some degree. My status also improved.

I'm quite proud of the work we've managed to accomplish over these past few years but now I'm getting my first quest.
===Quest===
Graduate Early from Trainer School.
Rewards: Basic Fighting Guide, Random Rock-type Egg
Failure: 50% debuff for next 2 years.

The rewards are kinda lacking but that's when considering I'm a cheapskate and don't more than I need to. Plus I was thinking of graduating early as even if I don't I'm not strong enough to help around the region with all the King and Prince class pokemon everywhere, so all this means is that I leave earlier and go on an adventure earlier than the others in my class.
So as I was walking to class I stopped Mr. Burns my teacher and asked him if I could take the early graduation exam. He seemed to have no problem with it and I was told to leave for the day and come back tomorrow for the exam.
The next morning I came back and was told to write a written exam first then they'll test me on what kind of trainer I wish to become. The trainer class that I chose was Battle Trainer mainly because I've been learning how to fight with pokemon since I got my system.
The written part of the exam was very easy as it only asked for type effectiveness and basic strategy, so nothing to hard. As for the Battle Exam also known as the practical part of the exam, that seems to be a bigger issue than I anticipated as my exam instructor is Mr. Burns. In town he is known as one of the only Battle Trainers, so I wasn't going to be able to beat him with me current strength.
Mr. Burns: Okay I will be your instructor today. Your exam is simple land a single hit on my face and you win if you don't you fail.
That may seem like an easy thing to do just use thunder wave and get over it if his PokeCore wasn't Flygon who is immune to Electric attacks. Also Radish ,who has Stun Spore, would have to stand still and use it leaving it vulnerable to counter attacks. Nonetheless I chose to go with Aqua using Hypnosis to put him to sleep and hope to god it's not a rare variant type with insomnia.
After sending out all my pokemon the referee started to count down.

After that I commanded Aurum to use Magnet Bomb and Radish to use Razor Leaf as I went to hold him off. I got up to him and he pushed right past me, at that moment however I grabbed hold of him with my Psychic powers and held him there for a few seconds. Just long enough for both attacks to hit him but neither hit his face. After that small clash he lifted up one of his feet and I instantly knew what he was going to use, so I yelled to Arum.
Grey: AURUM USE MAGNET RISE ON RADISH AND AQUA!!!
The move he was going to use was Earthquake one of the strongest ground-type attacks. I used levitation to lift myself off the ground just before the attack and with the ability Aurum acquired I didn't need to worry about him but my other two would be hurt pretty badly if it connected with them.
After that was over Aqua finally use Hypnosis and it connected so I used Acid Armour and Iron Defence just in case I get hit after he wakes up, then I rushed in and managed to go faster than I've ever gone before it was strange to say the least. After arriving right in front of him I kicked him with everything I had ,and at the last moment he woke up, but my kick landed only there was one problem. I FELT LIKE I WAS KICKING AN IRON WALL, it hurt to say the least.
Referee: The exam is over. Examine Grey has passed the exam!
After the ref had said that I passed out, I underestimated mental fatigue. A little while later I woke up in the school infirmary. Mr. Burns as well as my pokemon where there watching over me. Then Mr. Burns spoke.
Mr, Burns: Good job kid for passing the exam. Now I have to ask you where are you planning to take the League challenge, as you can't do it here.
I hadn't thought of were to take the league challenge yet, because I was to focused on getting stronger. So I just answered with the first region that came to mind.
Grey: Kanto.... That's where I'll take my first league challenge.
He once again seemed to be amused by my answer and told me to go to Pallet Town when I get there to register for the league. I told him I'll do just that.
